ElleBox Review October 2016

ElleBox Review October 2016

Ok, it’s time to get personal. If you are a guy reading this, or simply a girl who doesn’t like to talk about the P word, you might want to go to the next review. I have to get this off my chest. I HATE my period. It never really use to bother me, but I feel like it gets worse as I get older. Well, that and the fact that I have a copper IUD, means my monthly visitor is a B.I.T.C.H. Luckily I don’t get grumpy, but I do get ridiculous cramps, it lasts about 10 days, I have one day out of the ten where I literally can’t leave the house, my entire body gets achy, and I end up having to do extra laundry if you know what I mean. So, why am I telling you all these personal details? I want to make a point. When I have to go through this every 28-30 days, I NEED something to make it a little more bearable, and receiving a fun little TOM box like ElleBox does just that.

October Details

I received a product card this month. Do we normally receive product cards? I don’t think we do, or have I just been missing them? Anyways, I secretly love product cards. I’m not sure why, but I do. Maybe it’s because I feel a little more organized when I have a product card in front of me. Could that be it?

Pure Natural Organic Skincare Dead Sea Bathing Salts

Take your bath to the next level with dead sea salts, Epsom salts, rose petals, hibiscus pets and lavender buds. Need we say more?

Wow, this smells amazing. It makes me want to go have a bath right now. Really it does. I can definitely smell the roses, and I have developed a love for any beauty product containing, or smelling like roses. Bath salts are the perfect product for a TOM box.

Bebe de Luxe Coconut & Oatmeal Milk Bath

A lovely combo of organic coconut milk and organic oatmeal so gentle a baby could use it.

I have received this a few times before, but I am always happy to receive more. I love Bebe de Luxe products.  In addition to the Milk Bath they also have bath bombs, bath tea, body oil, baby bar and more.

Tea Sparrow Organic Apple Harvest Tea

Tea Sparrow is a subscription tea service that curates the worlds best tea’s and deliver them to your door. Enjoy this apple blend, just in time for fall.

This is another brand I have received many times before, and another brand I love. Tea Sparrow has some really great tea blends. This one includes cranberries, cinnamon, apples, rosehip, cloves, lemon and orange.

Daniel Le Chocolat Belge

Indulge in a decadent chocolate bar. Made in Vancouver with no artificial additives, flavourings or preservatives.

I mentioned this in my last review, but this is the perfect amount of chocolate for a TOM box. I always want chocolate during that special time, but I don’t want too much. The more I have, the more I eat, and that can be dangerous.

The Necessities – Tampons & Pads

This month I received organic necessities. Did you know that they offer an organic option for both the necessities and comfort boxes? They offer organic products from NatraCare and Organic. Very exciting! This is definitely my preference when it comes to feminine care products.

ElleBox Review October 2016 – Final Thoughts

I just love my TOM boxes. ElleBox makes an otherwise crappy time just a little bit brighter. If you have never received a time of the month box before, I recommend trying it out at least once. But, you need to make sure you let them know the timing of your period so that it shows up right before it starts. There really is nothing better than receiving a gift in the mail 3-5 days before your monthly visitor. I have been known to wait until the day of my period before opening it. Waiting makes it even more exciting. Luckily ElleBox times the delivery of your box according to your schedule. I’ve said it before and I am going to say it again, every woman needs a TOM box in their life.

XOXO
