How do renewals work?
When you subscribe to LitJoy you will be charged immediately for the subscription model you have chosen. Once your subscription cycle has ended, you will be automatically re-billed for the same cycle model until you decide to switch to a different plan or cancel your subscription.
For example: a To Bee Read annual subscription purchased on February 15th will renew again on February 1st the following year.
What is the To Bee Read Renewal Schedule?
February 1st
May 1st
August 1st
November 1st
*Renewals always take place on the first of the month and cannot be moved to a later date.
What if I’m interested in a previous box? Can I purchase those?
Our subscriptions are not available as a past box. Some items will be available in our shop at a later date or as an add-on to a future box.
How are the customization tiers set up?
Book Choice – Existing subscribers get to choose from 1 of the 2 titles.
Choice Level Tier 1 – Standard subscribers get to choose one option from this tier
Choice Level Tier 2 – Standard subscribers get to choose one option from this tier
Choice Level Tier 3 – Standard subscribers get to choose one option from this tier
Mystery Items Level Tier 4 – This is not customized and is a surprise in your standard or deluxe box.
Deluxe subscribers get ALL items from Choice Level Tiers 1-3.
Is there early access to customization week?
Yes. All existing subscribers that received the previous book box get first access to customization week.
*Please note if you skipped your previous renewal you will not have early access.
How much is shipping?
Shipping rates are determined by carriers and are subject to change with carrier policies and price fluctuations.
International orders: Customs, duties, and import taxes are collected for any orders shipping to the E.U. or Great Britain based on the current regulations of each individual country. All other international countries, LitJoy does not collect taxes. Your order may be subject to additional fees upon delivery, determined by your country. International shipping reflects current international shipping rates.
To Bee Read Domestic shipments will have a set shipping price based on if you get a book, standard, or deluxe box.
International subscriptions will have varied shipping prices depending on what customizations are chosen.
Subscription orders ship for a flat rate with each renewal so that you can plan your expenses in advance. We will notify you of any change in your shipping rates in excess of $1.00 USD prior to your renewal so you can continue to plan accordingly.
What age range are the To Bee Read subscriptions appropriate for?
We offer Young Adult and Adult special edition signed books from a variety of different genres, including, fantasy, fairytale, contemporary, science fiction, dystopian, mystery, thriller, and more! Each quarter you can customize your box and choose which book is best suited for you or for someone you are gifting to.
Items in the Standard and Deluxe box represent general bookish or well-known Young Adult and Adult novels.
