SNAILBOX is an independent greeting card subscription that seeks to breathe fresh air into the world of mass produced greeting cards. We source our stationery from a wide range of brilliant independent artists to deliver paper products with a distinctly bold and modern feel.
Each month, our curators hand-pick fresh designs from a different greeting card artist. We pair the cards with complementary stamps and envelope seals, then wrap everything up in a pretty package and mail directly to your door. We use minimal plastic in our packaging and source recycled materials whenever possible.

Each month Snailbox delivers a tastefully curated collection that includes:

HOW DOES SNAILBOX WORK?
The Snailbox team sources greeting cards from independent artists and small stationery companies around the world. We then curate the cards into fun collections that are different every month, then ship them right to your doorstep.
WHAT EXACTLY WILL I GET IN MY BOX?
Each month you will receive 4 assorted greeting cards, 4 matching envelopes, 4 envelope seals (aka stickers), and 4 USPS Forever stamps. We also include an Artist Profile card, and wrap everything up with a pretty paper band or string that you can (and should!) reuse.
WHY SHOULD I SUBSCRIBE?
You have great taste, but lack time and resources. Maybe you don’t have great taste and you’re looking for some help in the style department. Maybe you love sending handwritten notes, and can never have enough on hand.

WHY DOES SNAILBOX MAKE A GREAT GIFT?
We all know someone bursting with creativity. Let them know you’ve noticed how original and thoughtful they are! Gifting 3, 6 or 12 months of greeting cards will keep them surprised, delighted, and thinking of you every month.
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Shipping is 100% free! We are pleased to cover that pesky shipping cost for you.
WHERE IS THE SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Snailbox is currently available in the United States only. As we grow, we may expand our boundaries to include other countries.
WHEN WILL MY BOX ARRIVE?
We ship once per month. Our boxes are mailed on the 10th of the month via USPS, and should arrive within 3-5 business days. If you purchase between January 1st – January 31st, for example, your first box will ship on February 10th.
WHEN AM I BILLED?
To provide you with uninterrupted service, Snailbox offers a recurring monthly subscription service. You pay for your first month upon checkout. Re-billing begins the following month, and occurs on the 20th of each month.
Gift subscriptions do not auto renew.
ARE THERE EXTRA FEES OR CHARGES?
Nope! Shipping is FREE, we cover the sales tax, and there are no extra handling fees.
I AM GIVING A GIFT SUBSCRIPTION — HOW WILL THEY KNOW IT’S FROM ME?
They’ll find out when they receive their first box, which will have your personalized message on a handwritten card. You can let them know your gift is on the way by downloading our Printable Gift Letter
HOW DO I UPDATE MY ADDRESS OR CREDIT CARD INFO?
You can manage your recurring plan, including email, address and billing information, through your Payer Portal. Any trouble, just email us at info(at)snailboxcards.com.
MY BOX HASN’T ARRIVED.
Once we put your box into the mail, it is in the hands of the USPS and out of our control. Please be patient, especially around holidays, and give your box the chance to make it’s snail mail-iest arrival. If your box has not arrived by the end of the month, please email us to request a replacement or refund.
In the case of inaccurate shipping addresses, we are not liable.
HOW DO I CANCEL?
Snailbox subscription plans are recurring, and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation requests must be received prior to the 20th of the month that your existing subscription plan is due to renew. For example, you must cancel by January 19th if you want your January box to be your last. If you cancel between January 20th – Feburary 19th, the February box will be your last. Cancellations only affect future billing and do not refund any payments made.

CAN I GET A REFUND?
We are confident you will enjoy Snailbox! However, if you are not fully satisfied, you may return your box in its original condition for a full refund. Return shipping charges are at the customer’s expense.

Snailbox is curated by Amanda Paulson and Zach Benkowski. As practicing artists, we have our eye on the pulse of contemporary culture. We take enormous pleasure in introducing our subscribers to the many hidden gems we find in all corners of the globe.

ARE YOUR CONTRIBUTORS PAID?
Yes, all of our artists are paid for the use of their work. As professional artists ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to hustle in today’s economy, and believe in paying everyone a fair rate!
