Box Details:
The Spark Box is a quarterly subscription and gift box service for mamas and minis. Each box is designed to mindfully address age-specific developmental milestones for babies and toddlers, and to support the overall health and wellbeing of mamas. Our goal is to spark inspiration, spark exploration, and nurture growth in the home. We source the highest-quality items from local Canadian brands, award-winning lines, as well as toys and products from leading brands in childhood development.
The Spark Box takes the guesswork out of early learning so that you, mama, can focus on what matters most: feeling at your best so that you can build a strong, loving bond with your baby.

What is a Spark Box?
The Spark Box is committed to helping mamas and mamas-to-be nurture a healthy learning environment at home for their little one. We provide carefully curated collections of products, resources, and tools for both mama and mini. Every Spark Box is complete with 4 high-quality, full sized age appropriate toys and tools for your child, and research-backed resources to foster a healthy learning environment. Because a healthy home learning environment stems from caregivers, each Spark Box also includes 4 full-sized health, wellness and functionality items to support the overall wellbeing of mamas.
I want to purchase as a gift, will I have to sign up for a subscription?
Nope! We offer all our boxes as a gift box option as well as a subscription.
Where is my order?
The Spark Box ships quarterly in the months of May, August, November and February. We will send you an email with all the necessary details as soon as the order leaves our hands. You can also review your order information by logging into your plan management portal, which can be accessed through the sign-in button on our home page.
Do you take refunds or exchanges?
Due to the nature of the box, purchases are final sale and non-refundable. We do not accept returns or exchanges of boxes, box items, add-ons or additional box purchases. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund. Any Spark Boxes that arrive damaged, defective, or wrong/incorrect item(s) must be reported within two (2) weeks of your delivery date and we can work together to make things right. Please contact hello@thesparkbox.ca to report a problem.

My baby is between ages — which box should I get?
On our ‘Get Started’ page on the web, you will be able to enter your child’s birth date, and we will suggest your perfect box! If you’re still unsure, just open the chat and send us a message — we’ll help you out.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
We currently ship to all Canadian provinces and territories. We hope to provide International shipping in the near future. Our nationwide shipping is free!
Can my subscription be cancelled?
We would hate to say goodbye, but you can cancel your subscription plan anytime. Simply login to your payment portal by clicking the sign-in button on our website and cancel your subscription. Please cancel BEFORE the 1st of the month of the last month in your subscription plan. For example, if you signed up for a semi-annual plan in May, the last month in your plan would be November. You would need to cancel by the 1st of October. You will still receive any boxes that you have already paid for, but your subscription will not be renewed when it expires. If you experience any difficulties with this process or if you have any further questions, please send us an email at hello@thesparkbox.ca so we can help you out!
Will I be charged tax?
Provincial sales taxes are included in the box price. You will, however, be charged GST (5%) upon checking out.
How do I change my address on my subscription?

When will you charge my credit card?
If you have signed up for a quarterly subscription plan, your credit card will be charged your full plan amount four times per year for as long as your maintain your subscription with us. The first payment will come out when your first box ships. All subsequent payments will be charged in three month intervals. If you have signed up for a semi-annual subscription plan, your credit card will only be charged your full plan amount twice per year for as long as your maintain your subscription with us. The first payment will come out when your first box ships. All subsequent payments will be charged in six month intervals. Please note: the above information may not apply during promotional periods. Please contact hello@thesparkbox.ca if you have any questions about this. Gift orders do not renew.

I’ve yet to subscribe annually (on maternity leave, so hard to justify currently) but I have bought two boxes to gift. The expectant mama box for a close friend who is expecting her rainbow baby, and the Father’s Day box for my husband to be and daddy to our little girl. Both boxes were jam packed with Canadian products which makes my heart happy. I love supporting the Canadian economy and small businesses. All the products were thoughtfully chosen and put a huge smile on the faces of the special people that opened them. From what I can see, the ladies behind the Spark Box are super passionate about what they do and have created a wonderful subscription box for mamas and babes that was definitely missing on the Canadian market.
The best subscription box I have ever signed up for! Every product in the box is very well thought out for both baby and I. I normally struggle with subscription boxes paying ‘X’ amount and not enjoying as much of the box that I would like but this box does not disappoint! It’s honestly the best!! My baby loves it too and its such a treat for a mom to look forward to! 🙂 It also makes a great gift for any mom! I’ve already gifted it twice and both moms LOVED it!
The best box! The effort that has been put in to curate the toys for our babies is top notch. I love the cards that come with the box which provides prompts and tips for playing well. The products for mamas are fantastic and make us feel important and valued. The women behind this box are exceptional and this box is the one to get.
