Before we dive into all the goodies tucked inside this season’s box, let’s talk a bit about how the subscription works. With Acre75 Gathered, you’re not just getting a box of products—you’re joining a community that celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of small-town artisans. As a society, we talk a lot about shopping our values and this is one of the best ways I know to do that.

Ready to see what’s inside? Let’s have a closer look at the Fall 2024 Acre75 Gathered box…

Acre75 Gathered Fall 2024 Unboxing

I was excited to see a sticker on the inside flap proudly displaying that they won Best Overall Box 2024 in our Canadian Subscription Box Awards!  It was well deserved and I love that they’re bringing attention to it in this way.

This month’s theme is “Grandma’s Kitchen” and the fall Acre75 Gathered Box invites us to step into the warmth and charm that’s felt there. The card on top reads, “I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.” -Laura Ingalls Wilder.  What a beautiful quote for what Acre75 Gathered represents!

If you missed the story about their newspaper-printed tissue paper, check the last review here for all the details. It’s such a sweet sentiment!

Honey Roasted Almonds: Double roasted with honey and sugar, they’re the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy. I love finding a snack like this in a subscription box!  It’s fun to find treats, but it’s also fun to find healthy alternatives that feel like a treat!  This bag is made by Copperpot Nuts located in Coldwater, ON. They’re so tasty, I’m keeping this whole bag for myself!

Cornbread Mix: Made by Provisions Food Co in Beamsville, ON, this is a southern classic! My grandma was a true southern lady who grew up in Texas and made the BEST cornbread I’ve ever had. It was a staple in her home and one of my favorite things to eat growing up. I haven’t been able to recreate her recipe (she passed before I was old enough to ask her for it) but I’m always on the hunt for something that can come close. Excited to give this one a try and to remember my sweet Grandma this way.

Hand Quilted Hot Plate: This hot plate or pot holder (depending on where you’re from!) was hand-crafted exclusively for Acre75 Gathered by E&E’s Cloth &  Creations in Newton, ON. It truly is perfect for adding a cozy charm to the kitchen decor while serving up some fall favorite dishes. I love that it has a little loop on the end to hang on the inside of a cabinet. It also looks like it could be machine washable which is another bonus!  I love the pretty neutral design and will definitely be using this year round.

Crocheted Dish Cloth: Ok, so this is another item that totally hits home for me! My other grandmother (I call her Grammy) is almost 91 years old and she makes crocheted disch cloths just like this for me!  I can’t get enough!  I hate using sponges in the kitchen, these are the BEST because they clean really well, but then you just toss them in the washing machine when you’re done. I pull out a new one each day and love knowing that I’m not dealing with gross sponge buildup. Blech. This one is handcrafted by Wool and Spindle from Clifford, ON, and is made with locally purchased yarn from Sprinrite Yarns in Listowel, ON. I love the color palette too!

Apple Pie Foaming Hand Wash: What’s more nostalgic about Grandma’s kitchen than apple pie? Seriously, I’ll wait… 🙂  This is such a creative addition to the fall Acre75 Gathered box, made by The Fresh Wife Soap Co located in Stettler, AB. It smells so yummy and I love the simple fall-inspired packaging. Definitely putting this out to use right away.

Grandma’s Kitchen Candle: Yes, yes, yes! First of all, the candle is adorable, and second – it smells like banana bread! It’s like all of my favorite comfort foods and treasures in one box! Made by Aspen Ridge Candle Co in Clearwater County, AB, this is a real gem. It’s perfect for the fall season, but honestly could be used year-round as well.

Sparkling Apple Cider & Sour Cherry Juice: I actually squealed when I opened these! SUCH a fun treat and again, off the beaten path from what we typically see in subscription boxes (in the very best way!).  These are non-alcoholic ciders that are lightly carbonated (my son calls them “spicy”) and free from added sugar and preservatives. YES! I don’t like to drink my calories, but I do like a bit of a change now and then. These are absolutely perfect for days when I want something special outside of my usual water. The apple is made with fresh pressed apples and the cherry is made with Montmorency cherries sourced in Ontario. So tasty!

Acre75 Gathered Review Fall 2024 – Final Thoughts

This was one of the most special boxes I’ve reviewed in a while!  I love how Acre75 Gathered is incredibly committed to the themes of their boxes.  They truly take you on a journey and tap into feelings you don’t normally experience with many subscription boxes.  The idea that this box literally bundled up all of these beautiful (and delicious), thoughtful items that instantly brought me back to some of the most special memories I have with my grandparents is an intangible benefit you can’t put a price tag on.

Every single product inside is something I’m going to use and enjoy, and I’m going to send love to my Grandma and my Grammy in the process.  Beyond that, knowing that each item supports small, local, artisan businesses in Canada is just the cherry on top.

There’s something special about the Acre75 Gathered box, you have to experience it for yourself to understand!  This would make an incredible gift this holiday season for that person in your life who already has everything. Give them the gift of experiencing Acre75 Gathered. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
