Unboxing the April 2024 Anchor of Hope Box

Let’s have a look inside the April 2024 Anchor of Hope box…

Immediately I loved how thoughtfully this box was packaged. It was clear that they took care and attention to detail in their packaging.

Inside was a beautifully designed insert card explaining more about the company and what they do. Their mission is very clearly described and I can’t help but feel the power that subscribers are collectively creating for these disadvantaged women. It’s inspiring.

Rattan Clutch Purse: This beautiful clutch was handmade in Indonesia. Talented artisans used local palm fibers to create these! It’s truly an example of natural beauty. It is stunning – and a nice large size that would be great for this spring and summer season. It’s lined inside for extra protection and it has a very high-quality feel.  I’m thoroughly impressed and I’m amazed that it was handmade! The level of detail is incredible.

Here’s a close up look at the beautiful detail, it’s gorgeous.

Amora Necklace: High in the mountains of southern Costa Rica, the indigenous artisans of the Guaymi tribe crafted this necklace. These women have been historically marginalized and have limited access to education and job opportunities. This fair trade necklace is crafted from local paper and glass beads.

It came packaged in a lovely white linen bag with a tag including the name of the woman who made it, Matilde. Holding the necklace I can’t help but think about her, and how much time and love she put into creating it. It’s a pretty green and gold combo and an extra long length. The purchase of these necklaces supports an organization called Hands Producing Hope which makes it possible for women to gain access to artisan skills training, life skills classes, educational scholarships, and more.

Herb Marker: I love this eco-friendly, reusable herb marker that’s handcrafted from natural clay and a lead-free glaze, by the master artisans from Blue Pottery of Jaipur. It has a beautiful indigo blue pattern and I love that I can use a dry-erase marker to label the herbs I’m marking with it! So pretty.

I didn’t have any herbs on hand, but wanted to give you an idea of what this would look like in a pot. Gorgeous.

Anchor of Hope Review April 2024 – Final Thoughts

It’s clear that they are high quality, and meticulously made products in the Anchor of Hope box. But beyond the products, it fills my heart to know that each one of these lovely items has a far greater impact than we can even imagine. It’s such an honor to amplify the message and mission of Anchor of Hope and the important work that they’re doing.  There’s something magical about creating a community of people who care and who have a desire to support these disadvantaged artisans and their amazing skills.

I also think the Anchor of Hope box makes a great gift option. They’ve designed their product card so that you can gift each item from the box by cutting the section of the product card for each item to give with the gift so the recipient can learn more about where the item came from. I think this is an incredible idea and a great way to have beautiful, thoughtful gifts on hand at all times!
