As always, Anchor of Hope’s presentation is on point. Opening the box I was greeted by their signature smoky mauve tissue paper and gorgeous product cards. These little details really bring the Anchor of Hope experience to life.

The information card on top provided a heartwarming overview of the company’s mission, and then it was time for the main event – the products themselves! This month’s box focused on summer vibes, with a delightful mix of functionality and artistic flair.

Billy Ball Felt Flower Bouquet: These little beauties are blooming with hope – they’re basically sunshine personified! Starting in a fair trade cooperative in Nepal, they were transformed by refugee artisans rebuilding their lives in the USA. They brought a burst of cheer to my day. The craftsmanship is lovely, and the pop of color is perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to any space. I’m thinking they’ll look adorable in a bud vase on a windowsill, or even nestled among some dried flowers for a unique arrangement.

Shibori Dyed Headband: Talk about sustainable style! This vibrantly dyed headband was the epitome of summer style. Handmade in India using traditional shibori techniques, it instantly adds a glow-up to any casual hairstyle. But the beauty goes beyond aesthetics – knowing that the purchase of this headband supports not only disabled and women artisans but also community development projects in India makes this piece even more special.

Recycled Metal Plant Stakes: These charming bird-shaped plant stakes were a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit. Handcrafted in Haiti from recycled oil drums, they’re a testament to the talent and resourcefulness of the artisans at Vi Bella. Even more importantly, the purchase of these stakes contributes to crucial support for the Haitian people as they navigate their current challenges. These are well made, heavy-duty, and I love the intricate detailing. Such a special way for hope to take flight!
