Bakers Krate sends me baked goods every month, and I love them for it! Honestly, who doesn’t want to get a box of cookies and squares in the mail! Normally I don’t even eat baked goods, but I always end up trying my Bakers Krate goodies because they are that good. I pretend I’m not vegan for a day and sample the baked goodness that shows up on my doorstep……yes, I’m a cheater.

One of my favourite things about Bakers Krate is that it’s a Canadian company. Until now it has only been available to us Canadians but due to such a high demand from potential customers across the border they are in the process of expanding shipping to the US. If you are in the US and this is something that interests you check out their Kickstarter fund – CLICK HERE
Classic Date Square (Goodies Bake Shop) – Date squares remind me of my job at the retirement home. This classic bar was a hit with the seniors but it’s also a hit with me. The product card says it perfectly – there’s something very satisfying about a good date square.
Peanut Butter Cherry (Desserts Plus) – So basically we have chocolate, cherry and peanut butter all rolled up in one tasty little bite. If that doesn’t sound good to you then I’m sorry to say it but you might need to have your taste buds checked.
Marble Mocha Cake Jar (Cake-Ology) – Yes! This will be the third or fourth month that we have received a cake jar, and I love it! What is it about these things that make me so happy. Maybe because they are the perfect little portable snack…..pop it in your purse and go.
Chocolate Chunk Cookie (Goodies Bake Shop) – Chocolate chip cookies are always a good idea…..always, always, always. That’s all I have to say about that.
Florentine Bar (Goodies Bake Shop) – I think I’m most excited about this treat because I’ve never tried a florentine bar before. I’ve made my fair share of bars and cookies over the years, so I’m kind of surprised to find one that I’m not familiar with. This is a mixture of fruit, nuts and shortbread.
Thoughts: Cake, cookies, bars, and cherry bombs…..the perfect mixture of sweet treats if you ask me. I’m yet to receive a Bakers Krate that I haven’t liked, but that should be apparent because I always end up sampling the goods…..even though I shouldn’t…..they’re that good. This month they won me over with the Peanut Butter Cherry Ball, it’s definitely the star of the box and they need to include more of these in future boxes…… just sayin’.
XOXO
