Basic MAN is a monthly subscription service that will deliver 3 essential pieces of your daily life to your doorstep. Every month, they will send you a t-shirt, boxer briefs and socks. It’s time to say goodbye to those saggy tee’s, stained underwear and socks with holes in them. They kindly sent us this package for review.
If you are familiar with my Basic MAN reviews you will know that I love this subscription. It’s a must-have subscription in our house as my husband gets a ton of wear out of all his Basic MAN pieces. Something else I say on a regular basis and that I would LOVE for them to come out with an option for us ladies and guess what!!! My wish has been granted. Yep…it’s true….Basic WOMAN will be launching soon. How excited am I!?

Basic MAN subscriptions are pretty straight forward. They make it easy, all you gotta do is pick your sizes and a monthly plan. Then just sit back and pop a cold one.

- Pick A Plan – Choose from a monthly or a pre-paid plan.
- Check Your Mail – Sit back and relax. Your package is on its way.
Here’s a peek at the items we received for August…..
High Quality T-Shirts
Are you the guy who wears an undershirt below your clothes? Or are you the guy who wears a tee as a fashion statement? Basic MAN shirts are for the both of you.
Our shirts are a hybrid between undershirts and your everyday tee. We use a heavier blended cotton fabric making them extremely soft while minimizing shrinkage and bunching. Subtle details give them a premium feel so you can wear them on their own.
I love that we are ending off the Summer season with such a fun color. I will be hoping for dark colors soon enough so I will enjoy this light ocean blue tee in the meantime. I say that like I am the one who is going to wear it when in fact it is for my Husband. I guess I could rock the over-sized tee trend if I really wanted to. But no…..he likes his Basic MAN t-shirts too much. I’ll save it for him.
Modal Boxer-Briefs
Typical boxer-briefs are made from cotton or polyester. These fabrics attract bacteria, don’t absorb sweat well, and smell. Instead, we use Modal, which is a sustainable fabric made from beechwood trees. It’s 50% more absorbent than cotton, breathable and odor resistant…but more importantly it’s ridiculously soft and comfortable. Ever heard of Modal fabric? Probably not, but trust us, this stuff is amazing!
If you (or your guy) haven’t tried Basic MAN boxers yet – you MUST! We love everything about them. The fit, the soft fabric, the mesh detail and the fact that they wash well.
Multi-Purpose Socks
Do you ride around on those hover board things all day? Well, that’s weird. For the rest of us, our feet take a beating on a daily basis. Our socks aren’t just your regular dress socks. They are meant for everyday wear and tear. We use premium cotton and bamboo for optimal comfort. Wear them with a suit, or casually with a pair chucks.
Our August socks look (and feel) different than all our other Basic MAN socks. The heel and toe are the same but the rest of the fabric has this really unique feel. I’m not sure how to describe it but I am really digging it.
Basic MAN Review August 2020 – Final Thoughts
I am getting some serious summer vibes from the August Basic MAN collection. The ocean blue t-shirt and the pale green boxers and socks – the colors are perfect as we wrap up the Summer season. But with that being said it really has me craving some darker colors. In regards to the items specifically, how great will the tee look with jeans, runners and a grey hoodie? Throw on the socks and you have a pretty great outfit……again I’m talking like these items are for me but as I describe the outfit I am picturing it on my husband and not myself….I swear:)
