Here’s a quick look at the subscription details……..

Here’s a peek at the items we received in the May Bombay & Cedar….

May Details: Breath

Take a moment to express more than just the smell of a rose, but how to live life with a deeper appreciation of the world around us. It reminds us to notice the little things that make life worthwhile. We lead a fast pace life, so learn to be present in every moment; otherwise we will miss those special moments that mean so much.

Comfort Essential Oil ($17)

A proprietary blend of oils designed to relax and ease tension in the scalp and body muscles. Useful for sore muscles, relaxation, head stress, migraines and overall wellness.

Ohhh……I am loving the sound of this first oil blend. I get headaches on a regular basis, especially around my “time of the month” so this will definitely come in handy.

Clear Mind Essential Oil ($17)

Clear mind is an excellent blend to uplift and relax individuals who are in need of stress relief. A bright and soothing must have blend.

This sounds like it will be a good one to diffuse in my office……I’ll save it for those stressful days when coffee just isn’t enough.

Tropical Rush Nasal Inhaler ($7.95)

A custom blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils and stimulating scents that will make you feel more alert and focused. You’ll experience a refreshing, cooling, tingly sensation that makes you feel alive.

Nasal inhalers are my new favourite. I mentioned in the April review that I will often use my oil rollers as nasal inhalers. It’s so much better using the actual thing. I need more of these……in all different scents!

Breath Your Way to a Calmer, Happier, Stress-free Life ($12.99)

Breathing the right way has many benefits including lowering your blood pressure, promoting feelings of calm and relaxation as well as helping you to de-stress. Breathe will teach you some of the simplest methods to increase awareness, mindfulness, and help you regain mental and physical focus.

I’m aware of the fact that most of us don’t breath properly and I’ve played around (just a little bit) with proper breathing techniques but I still have a lot to learn. I’m looking forward to reading this and putting it in to practice.

Himalayan Bath Salts by Bkind ($21.95)

Considered by some to be the purest salt in the world, Himalayan pink salt contains a wide range of minerals and elements that are essential to your body. This bath mix will help promote your blood circulation and pressure, skin texture and appearance, and reduce the signs of aging for a healthy skin and body effect. Eucalyptus, Lavender or Hibiscus.

Bath salts are always nice to have on hand, and……. Bkind is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands. They have some really lovely products and the cutest packaging.

Blossoming Tea by Flower Pot Tea ($8.99)

Infused healthy green tea leaves with the essence of fruit and wrapped around delicate dried flowers in Coconut Escape, Lush Lavender or Regal Jasmine.

Double Walled Glass Tea Mug by Pinky Up ($11.99)

Burning your hands on a hot tea mug is the worst, and tea that gets cold too fast is almost as bad. This gem of a mug solves both problems beautifully while showcasing your tea through its clear double walls.

I’m a coffee cup/tea mug fanatic. I LOVE receiving new mugs and I usually gravitate towards those that have fun sayings or pretty colors. But…..there’s something really nice about a plain glass mug. I will definitely put this to use.

Green Elephant Potato Chips by Lesser Evil ($1)

Crispy and crunchy, Green Elephant potato chips are crafted with NON-GMO seasoning, Himalayan Pink Salt and expeller pressed, high oleic sunflower oil, which is paleo. In perfectly Salted or Salt ‘n’ Apple Cider Vinegar.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I want to eat these ASAP. I typically like to receive some sort of health-food snack but at the same time I LOVE me some salt and vinegar chips. Lesser Evil is a really great brand and I have a feeling I’m going to need to buy more of these chips.

Aromatherapy Room Spray by Mer-Sea ($19)

Hand-poured in the USA using essential oils and fine fragrances making it a natural alternative to conventional air freshness.

I spritzed this in the room while I was taking photos and it is really lovely. A little overpowering at first but once it settles down it’s actually quite nice.

Dental Floss by Cocofloss ($8)

32 yards of a super cleansing, soft, textured dental floss to refresh your smile in Delicious Mint, Fresh Coconuts or Pure Strawberries.

How fun does this look?! This is a great way to entice me to carry my dental floss with me in my purse. Cute packaging and fun flavours……my gums and teeth say thank you.

Thank You Gift

If you shared your box on social media last month you have also received a special gift as a thank you for spreading the word about our box.

Bombay & Cedar Review May 2018 – Final Thoughts

This month’s Bombay & Cedar has a total retail value of $125.87. It has a really great theme, thoughtful curation and beautiful packaging (as per usual). The hero items this month are the Mer-Sea room spray, which smells lovely, and the Double Walled Glass Tea Mug, which will save me from burning my hands on hot tea. The other items I look forward to receiving in each Bombay & Cedar are the essential oils and the healthy snacks. This month in particular just might be my favourite when it comes to those two items. I am beyond excited to try to chips and the essential oil blends fit my lifestyle perfectly. As always I highly recommend this box. It is my personal fave. I’m tempted to say it takes the #1 spot on my sub box favourites list…….I love it THAT much!

XOXO
