Box of Thirds is a monthly lifestyle box for all Creatives. It features well-designed and well-made high quality goods by independent artists and makers from around the world! They kindly sent us this box for review.
This is our first time reviewing Box of Thirds and we are pretty darn excited about it. This is a brand new subscription box and it looks super cute! We were impressed with their website right off the bat, as well as their branding.
July Theme – Here Comes the Sun
The theme for our very first Box of Thirds celebrates the fun that Summer time brings. To our friends that are in the midst of Winter, we hope that the chirpy contents of this box would make your days a little warmer. In this box, we have included an enamel pin, a ceramic piece, a notebook, a greeting card, a set of face scrubbies, and a bonus sticker set to thank all our early supporters. We hope you love and enjoy them!
Ballama Enamel Pin (innaboxdesign)
This banana and llama hybrid will make a lot of people giggle when it’s pinned to your jacket, hat, tote, etc. This pin is 25mm, yellow in color with a silver plated clutch back.
Enamel pins are very trendy right now, or maybe trendy is the wrong word. Popular might be a better word. I think this was a really great item for them to include in their first box. It sets the tone for the subscription – fun & unique!
Mini Speckled Mountain Ring Cone (lithopsstudio)
Adorned with 22k gold cheeks and made using porcelain clay with black grog for a speckled effect. Appropriate for smaller ring sizes, a terrarium figurine or desk buddy.
Oh my goodness, this is just the cutest little thing I have ever seen!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the adorable little box and saw this inside. I honestly can’t get over how cute this is. I am not a fan of knick-knacks but this little guy is a keeper. He will sit on my desk shelf so I can look at him all day long.
Face Scrubbies (kraftyshop)
Face scrubbies are perfect for your daily facial cleansing routine and it also gently exfoliates your skin. Simply put a few drops of your facial cleanser of choice, put your finger through the hoop on the back and get to work on cleaning your face!
I absolutely love products like this. Anything that helps me be kind to the planet gets an A+ in my books. I wonder if we can expect to see more items like this in future boxes? I would love that!
PS – They get bonus points for the finger loops – #genius
Before Jumping into the Pool Sticker Set (dodolulu)
Make summer cooler by jumping into the pool. What about doing some warm up exercises before moving:) Subscribers received 8 pcs of original designs printed on coated paper.
Oh my! How awesome are these stickers!? They instantly put a smile on my face. I don’t even have use for stickers but I love these anyways. The artwork is perfect. I NEED to find a way to put these to use.
PS – This is a bonus item:)
We all Look Alike Notebook/Journal (dodolulu)
Notebook with original illustration in a mix of watercolour and coloured pencil.
This is my favourite kind of notebook. Not too big and not too small. I like that it isn’t too thick, it makes it easier for those of us who are left-handed to write in it. It is already on my desk shelf just waiting to be used.
Birthday Suit Letterpress Card (thefingersmithletterpress)
If you feel the wind blowing against your tush, you’re wearing your birthday suit right.
Lastly we have a cute little greeting card and it rounds out the box nicely.
Box of Thirds Review July 2017 – Final Thoughts
What a cute box! I had so much fun unboxing my very first Box of Thirds. I had a good feeling about this box from the moment I saw their website. They have done a really great job with their branding, which is something I really appreciate. You can tell a lot about a box just by the way they brand themselves. Box of Thirds has put a lot of time and energy into their website, social media and subscription offering. I am very impressed. This is the kind of box that will put a smile on your face. I was contemplating gifting a couple of the items but so far I can’t seem to decide which ones to part with. I can’t wait to see more from Box of Thirds!
XOXO
