Broad Box provides subscription boxes to suit women’s needs, from feminine products, to razors & body care, sexual wellness, & even baby products for moms! They kindly sent me this box for review.
They have 4 different boxes to choose from:
- BroadBox: Tampons, Pads, Pantiliners, Feminine Wipes, Pain Reliever
- BodyBox: 5 Blade Razors, Shaving Gel, Lotions
- BlushBox: Condoms, Personal Lubricants, Feminine Wipes
- BabyBox: Lotions, Washes, Diaper Rash Treatment, Diaper Pail Refills
This is my first time reviewing Broad Box and so far it looks like it is right up my alley. This month I received BroadBox – The Favourite. You can also choose The Essentials and The Standard.
The Favourite Box includes: Tampons / Pads, Pain Reliever, Pantyliners, Feminine Wipes, and 4 bonus items.
When you sign up for a subscription you choose whether you would like tampons or pads, what kind of tampons, whether you would like regular or super, if you would like to receive pain relievers, what kind of pantyliners, and what kind of feminine wipes. It’s good to have lots of customization options when it comes to time of the month boxes, every “body” is different so we all need different period products.
Tampons
I received 18 tampons and they came in a resealable plastic bag. This is a genius idea. A plastic bag is the tiniest little detail, but it’s way better than the tampons being loose in the box.
Pain Reliever
This is a time of the box MUST! I need to have these readily available during my “special time” because headaches creep up on me out of nowhere. I’ve had 2 in the past month and I would have given anything to have had one of these little Advil packs in my purse.
Pantiliners
I received 14 pantyliners and again, they came in a resealable plastic bag. I don’t know why this makes me so happy, but it does. It’s probably because the bag will keep the items organized and easy to store.
Feminine Wipes
This is another item that should be included in ALL time of the month boxes. These little individually wrapped cloths can be kept in your purse and used to freshen up during your period, post-workout, right after a plane ride, etc….
Soft Socks
These are the first thing I saw when I opened the box. My eyes immediately went to the fuzzy socks. I’m probably most excited about these. I want to go put them on right now. But no, I am going to wait one more week.
Cucumber Facial Mask
I rarely use sheet masks, but I LOVE that they included one. I am going to apply this while I wear the socks. It will be heaven.
Bath Bomb
I wish I could describe how this smells. It’s amazing. It’s a little sweet, a little floral, and a little bit of vanilla. And I LOVE bath bombs so they did well with this item. I like to have at least a couple on hand at all times.
Allegro Tea
They really have put together a fun little experience with this box. Here’s how it should go:
- save all items for your “bad day”, boil some water, make a cup of tea, light a candle, take a bath with your bath bomb, apply the face mask, put on your favourite pjs and the fuzzy socks
Broad Box Review January 2017 – Final Thoughts
My very first Broad Box was a pleasant surprised. I felt happy after opening it, and relaxed. That might sound funny, but I get different feelings from each box I open. Some are exciting, some are overwhelming, some are disappointing, and some put a happy little smile on my face. Broad Box did the latter. This is the perfect time of the month box for me. It has all the things I need/want during my period. Tampons, pantyliners, and wipes are the essentials. Pain relievers are much-needed. You don’t know how many times over the last couple months I wish I had pain relievers in my purse. The tea is a must-have for those “bad” days, and the mask, bath bomb and socks are special little treats that will make you feel pampered. The socks were the perfect touch!! Broad Box gets a big ol’ A+ from this girl!
PS – I just found out that Veeda 100% natural cotton products are now available for your monthly subscription at Broad Box! SO exciting!!
