Here’s a look at the items we received in the April Yoga Box…..
It appears as though we have a bit of a theme going on and you all know how I feel about themes…….I LOVE them!! A theme is a really great way to pull a box together. It creates more of an experience when all the products complement each other.
The April BuddhiBox is titled “Stay Wild, Moon Child”.
Metal Crescent Moon Dish ($18)
Need a “catch-all” for your jewelry, keys, coins, and all the other stuff you remove from your pockets each night? This whimsical crescent moon dish is perfect for holding your smallest treasures! Crafted in shiny metal, it’s a cute accent piece for your bedroom dresser, or sacred place.
This little dish is super cute. I like that it is small and that the sides are a little higher than all my other catch-all dishes. I will probably use it for my rings. I have a bad habit of leaving them on the counter. We are off to a good start in regards to the moon theme.
Moon Phase Bracelet ($25)
Ancient philosophers believed that the phases of the moon affect human behaviour and health. So do many of today’s wellness professionals. So, we’ve created this delicate, silver-plated moon phase bracelet to honour the heavenly body that influences our health and well-being. Wear it to yoga class, with your favourite jeans, or even for dressy occasions. So pretty.
Not only is this bracelet super cute but it also has me thinking about phases of the moon. It’s something I’ve never taken the time to learn about……maybe now’s the time.
Moon Canvas Tote ($16)
You can never have too many tote bags! Add this pretty moon tote to your collection and keep it filled with your yoga gear, gym clothes, or whatever you carry with you each day. Made of sturdy canvas, the black background highlights the silvery moon and its interesting surface. Long straps make it easy to carry, even when your hands are full!
The product description couldn’t be more accurate! You can never have too many tote bags! I have a collection of them and use them for everything. I try to keep one with me at all times. I also love to use them to carry my snacks and to gift presents.
White Selenite Gemstone Pyramid ($16)
These lovely semiprecious stone pyramids are handcrafted in India, making each a one-of-a-kind treasure. Made of selenite – named for Selene, goddess of the moon – it’s a stone that represents mental clarity and is useful for helping quiet the mind. It’s very visible striations can serve as a pathway for the spirit and it may even help you awaken your telepathic abilities. Carry it with you or place it in the corner of your home to establish peace and serenity.
We have received a few different stones over the months but this is probably my favourite. I feel peaceful just looking at it. I think it’s the soft white, the smooth surface and the rounded corners. I am going to keep this one close by…..either on my desk or my nightstand.
The Moon Incense Cones ($5)
How does the moon smell? Heavenly, of course! And these incense cones prove it! Each pretty box contains 12 cones and a metal burner. Use them when you need to clear your mind, relax your body, or refresh your spirit.
I have one of these burning on my desk as we speak. It does smell heavenly. I find it very relaxing. It’s early in the morning and the smell of this incense is starting my day off on the right foot.
Story of My Tea: Moon Tea Blend ($4)
This perfectly blended herbal decaffeinated tea helps zap the stress of a long day and leads the way to relaxation and content…..kind of like a good yoga class! Featuring hibiscus, chamomile, lavender, peppermint, and liquorice, it’s a delightful blend that goes down easy and helps satisfy your sugar cravings. Drink it all day long or as a treat before bedtime.
I make a thermos of hot tea every day. I like having it on hand and being able to fill my cup as needed. Now that the weather is getting warmer I find myself thinking more and more about iced tea. This sounds like a really lovely blend – chamomile, lavender and peppermint. Just a few of my faves.
BuddhiBox Review April 2018 – Final Thoughts
At first glance I wasn’t really feeling the April BuddhiBox. I immediately compared it to last month’s box which included a beautiful scarf, my favourite wipes and a couple of really great turmeric products. But……I should know better. You can’t really compare one box to the next, especially when it comes to BuddhiBox. Each box is unique and really should stand alone. After spending some time going through the April box I came to appreciate it. I love the theme and that it encourages me to research something I’m not overly familiar with – moon phases. I love that we received a few items that are a little out of my comfort zone. I’m so quick to reach for “typical” products when I should be embracing ALL the items BuddhiBox provides. Each one is unique and beautiful and deserves my full attention.
