BuddhiBox Review May 2017

BuddhiBox it is a monthly care package filled with full-size yoga products that will inspire your life, workouts and community. They kindly sent us this box for review.

If you live a yogi lifestyle, whether it be physically, or mentally, this just might be the box for you. I use to get wrapped up in the idea that yoga subscription boxes needed to include fitness related items, when in fact they don’t. A yogi lifestyle is just as much about your mental wellbeing as it is about the physical. BuddhiBox sometimes focuses a little more on the emotional/mental side of things, so that is something to keep in mind.

Here’s a look at the items we received in the May box…..

BuddhiBox – Follow Your Bliss Cuff (25$)

Declare your aim, empower your intention, and manifest. This simple and stylish cuff features a quote from writer and mythologist, Joseph Campbell. Reminding you to always “follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be”.

I love this quote, it is speaking to my heart. I’m on a difficult journey in regards to my dreams and aspirations right now, and I need a daily reminder to trust in the process. I think I will be wearing this cuff quite often.

Selenite Healing Crystal (10$)

Selenite Crystals are high vibration stones that will move your spiritual growth forward and are considered a stone of the crown chakra. Selenite Crystals can be held at the heart as you are meditating, and this can be beneficial to help to relieve any stress or anxiety you may be feeling. It can also be placed in your home to aid the removal of negativity.

I love the idea of crystals and stones. I still need to do quite a bit of research on the topic before I feel totally comfortable using them, but I like to receive them regardless.

Bare Ethics – Massage and Body Oil ($5)

Get your massage on and feel good about it. Oil made from only choice ingredients of cold-pressed oils, 100% pure essential oils, and phthalate-free fragrance. Botanically enriched lush and luxurious natural body care products that are sustainable, vegan and organic.

I’m not a fan of small samples like this. I rarely end up using them.

The Happy Yogi – Watercolor Print ($10)

Happy Yogis spread messages of love, positivity, and beauty. These beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints are inspired by the artist’s yoga practice. Intended to channel kind, loving energy and designed to spark this notion in your daily practice on and off the mat.

This print is gorgeous, I love the watercolour background. It will go perfectly in one of my white frames.

My Mat, My Mantra – Mantra Magnet

A mantra can help cultivate presence, bringing peace and balance into your life. In yoga and meditation, many things can be used as objects of concentration. Mantras may be sounds, words or phrases, used as a focal point. These MantraSpots are intended to inspire and bring focus to your life. Adorn your yoga mat, water bottle, your car, mirror or notebook, laptop, anything!

Elements of Aliel – No.8 Rose Mask ($15)

The rose is a flower of love. This rose mask is made from scratch, with pure love and all natural ingredients. A blend of rosehip powder, beet root powder and rose clay, it is rich in vitamins A and C, which are essential to healthy, dewey looking skin.

This is my kind of face mask. I love anything made with rosehip, it really is a wonderful ingredient when it comes to skincare.

Elements of Aliel – Green Beau-Tea Blend (10$)

We all know the benefits of green tea for general health, however those benefits also carry over to our skin health as well. Green beau-tea is a blend of green tea, whole rose hips and rose petals. Together they form a fragrant and tasty tea that is as delicious as it is effective.

This is my favourite item in the box!! It has my favorite ingredient – rose hips. I have been on the hunt for a skin health tea and haven’t been able to find one at any of the health food stores in town. This will become my new afternoon ritual…….until it runs out.

BuddhiBox Review May 2017 – Final Thoughts

BuddhiBox is a wonderful subscription for those living a yogi lifestyle. It’s a monthly reminder to live mindfully. The May box has a nice mixture of products – tea, jewelry, crystal, skincare and a gorgeous print. The tea is definitely my favourite item in the box, I can’t wait to make a cup….or two. Personally I prefer the boxes that include some sort of fitness related item, but I love this subscription nonetheless.

XOXO
