BuddhiBox Review May 2019

BuddhiBox is a monthly Yoga inspired box that’s based on discovery, union and compassion. Each box contains 4-6 sample and full sized yoga-related products that will inspire your life, workouts and community. Products will be from different categories, including fitness, skincare, and fragrance. You’ll get to try staff favorites, product launches, and more. BuddhiBox believes it’s better to give than to receive, so each month a portion of proceeds from the sale of the boxes is donated to a different charity. They kindly sent us this box for review.

May Box Details

The May BuddhiBox is centered around the theme of the Divine Feminine and comes with a great quote to fit that theme:

“The rise of the feminine within us all will heal our world.” ~unknown

The divine feminine is the feminine energy that is found within all of us, regardless of sex, that connects us to our feelings of nurturing, intuition, and empathy. It helps us to be creative, collaborate and find community. I think the items in this month’s box are great for helping you tune into your divine feminine to grow and enhance these aspects of your being.

Here’s a look at what was in this month’s BuddhiBox:

Moon Infusions Calm Moon Drops ($50)

These all-natural relaxation drops are infused with botanicals scientifically known for their stress-reducing, mood-enhancing, and performance-boosting properties. Add about three 1/3 full droppers to an 8oz glass of cool water. That’s 60 drops if you prefer to count. Then enjoy!

This supplement is formulated to help you relax and unwind. Calm Moon is made with the highest quality ingredients and extracts including sceletium, tortosum, L-Theanine, chamomile extract and passion flower extract that combine to help calm the mind without making you feel drowsy. It’s said to bring the user serenity, clarity, focus and improved cognitive function, wellness and an enhanced mood. I could definitely benefit from this as it’s often hard to clear the racing thoughts and make way for peace. I’m super intrigued to try this out and see the results. It’s really easy to use by just adding to water or another cool beverage. I think this would be a great way to start the morning off.

Indo-Love Yoga Everyday Lotus Cuff ($20)

Wear this sweet bracelet as a reminder to practice every day.

This is a really pretty and subtle bracelet. I like that it has a message on it that says, “Yoga Everyday” so that even if you can’t practice every day you can at least be reminded to get into the mindset whenever you look down at your wrist. It’s a lightweight, cuff style bracelet that can be adjusted to fit different sized wrists.

Aid Through Trade Golden Goddess Original Roll-On Bracelet ($20)

Fair trade verified and made by women artisans in Nepal who practice Yoga! A great bracelet you can wear during yoga practice. Even the bag they come in is fair trade. Buy more and stack’em.

What a beautiful bracelet! It’s made of small seed beads and would add a touch of interest to any outfit. The pattern I received is really pretty, almost a golden ombre effect. This bracelet is a roll-on bracelet so it doesn’t stretch but just easily rolls on the wrist. This means it’s not adjustable but I think it would fit most hands. The bracelets are ethically made by Nepali artisans and purchases help empower these women. I like that even though two bracelets were included in this month’s box, that they are totally different and could also be worn together.

Matr Boomie Metallic Block Print Clutch ($25)

We love the gold tassel on this fair trade purse, with proceeds going to fund community development in India. The Goddess in all of us can use a little sparkle to remind us of our worthiness- perfect for tucking a healing crystal, or phone.

This is so pretty and the pattern I received coincidentally matches the bracelet so well! It’s a small clutch, maybe about 5×7 inches, so would be a good size for a phone and a lippie and a few other small things. You could use this for makeup in your purse or bag too. The pattern is created using a traditional block print technique with an improved process that saves water, using unbleached cotton and non-toxic inks. It’s handmade in India and is fair trade, sustainable and the purchase of one helps fund community development.

Meli the Dreaming Yogi Dream Pillow ($12)
7 day Trial Dream Healing Membership & Workbook ($250)

Tap into your feminine gifts and inner knowing via dreamwork! Relaxing lavender buds and crushed amethyst and clear quartz, help you fall asleep and make dreams more vivid and sweet. Combine your pillow with learning about holistic/natural ways to sleep better and understand hidden messages in your dreams.

First of all, I love the aroma of lavender and find it so calming and soothing. Fresh lavender buds are such a treat and a great addition to a dream healing program that promotes better, quality sleep. I’ve always been fascinated and intrigued by dreams and what they mean. The dream healing program provides information on dream interpretation and also includes ways to sleep better, dream recall techniques, healing modalities, options to meet with like-minded people for support, monthly group calls to answer questions, virtual moon ceremonies, weekly card pulls, workshops and a workbook. It sounds like a really interesting and educational tool for those looking to include more spirituality around the way they sleep and dream. Can’t wait to use my trial for this!

Bonus Gift: Me Time Botanicals Morning Perk Eye and Facial Serum ($25)

What a nice suprise!? This item wasn’t on the insert card but came with a special card that said it was a special bonus gift in honor of Mother’s Day. What mom couldn’t use a little caffeine boost?? This serum is gentle enough to be used on the under eye area and can also be used anywhere else on the face that needs brightening. It’s said to soften and moisten skin along with helping to rejuvenate and de-puff – so it would be great for tired eyes. It’s 100% natural and is made with caffeine (for the de-puffing) and blueberry seed oil which is full of vitamins (for the rejuvenating). I literally cannot stop smelling this- it smells so good! It smells like coffee with a hint of vanilla and lavender. It also has a steel roller ball which makes the application a breeze and also feels soothing as it cools and promotes lymph flow.

BuddhiBox Review May 2019 – Final Thoughts

What a great BuddhiBox theme this month! I like how the theme isn’t just focused on mothers for Mother’s Day, but rather the mother that is within all of us and that the items help tune into that nurturing part of our soul to nurture ourselves. I love all the items included but am especially excited to use the Morning Perk bonus gift. Like I said, it just smells so wonderful! I don’t drink coffee but love the smell of it so this would be a great way to start the day. I’m also really intrigued by the moon drops and want to see if they can bring some calm to my busy mind. Lastly, I think the dream healing will be so fun to look into. I don’t totally know what it entails yet, but I’m so curious! Overall, I love that many items in this month’s box are made by female creators. I think that purchasing from and for women is a great way to connect to and be reminded of your inner feminine energy.
