Last month was our first time reviewing Cairn and we were super excited to get our hands on this box. Outdoor themed subscription boxes are few and far between. It’s a subscription box category that needs a little more love, but for now at least there’s Cairn to fill the gap.

This is the kind of item to keep on hand, whether it be in your backpack or in your vehicle. I feel like these little clips will be very useful……for a number of different things.
Viter Energy Mints
These little mints are sneaky versatile – minty fresh breath and an energy boost. The mints contain 40mg of caffeine (half a cup of coffee’s worth of caffeine) and B-vitamins for last-acting on-demand energy and fresh breath, all packed in a pocket-sized tin.
Equadose Pill Splitter
Are you sick of unequal halves and dangerous powder when you’re splitting pills? Introducing the Equadose pill splitter. It is a whole new way of cutting tablets. The design utilizes two opposing blades that come in from the sides to score your pills prior to splitting them. Furthermore, the blades are angled so that they will never dull. In addition, the Equadose pill splitter is crafted here in the USA.
This item wasn’t in the product book so I’m tempted to say it is a bonus item. I feel like it will come in handy for some subscribers and not so much for others. I personally don’t have a use for it but I know for a fact that my Stepmom will love it.
Cairn Review May 2018 – Final Thoughts
Overall I’m pretty happy with the May Cairn box. As I mentioned above, Cairn is filling a void in the subscription box market which I appreciate very much. I like to see subscription box options for everyone and this is a perfect box for anyone who likes to spend time outdoors. Whether it be camping, hiking, traveling, boating…..you name it. Two of the products we received this month are extremely versatile and can be used for a number of different activities. These are the kind of items I appreciate receiving. I look forward to seeing more from Cairn.
