Unboxing the October 2024 College Girl Cherished Box

First of all, how beautiful is this unboxing?  I mean, the colors, the sweet reminder that “you are cherished” and the goodies peeking through – I can already imagine what it would feel like to be away from home and on the receiving end of this pretty box.

Let’s take a look at what was inside the October College Girl Cherished box:  

Handwritten note personalized to your daughter, art print, and College Girl Cherished swag: I absolutely love this special touch about the box. In each box comes a note for her to read with the gift giver’s personalized message on it. While opening my box it brought a smile to my face just seeing an envelope with my name on it and a special note just for me. I know it would brighten any college girl’s day! 

Included in the box with the note was an art print and branded College Girl Cherished swag. On the backside of the Hello Gorgeous art print was another sweet message, as well as a scripture. I didn’t realize it was a Christian-based box, but after looking at their website I did see that they include spiritual encouragement in each box.  

Bow Spa Headband: This is an item I was personally excited to see in the box because I always steal my daughters when washing my face so now I have my own! The headband was so comfortable and cute. A definite win for college girls I’m sure!

Satin Scrunchies by Kitsch: This is another item that we have in our home so I knew as soon as I saw the Kitsch satin scrunchies that they are such a good item to include in the box. We love satin scrunchies in our house – they are great to use when washing your face or to sleep in because the satin doesn’t leave as big of a crease mark in your hair as a regular scrunchie. As a girl mom, it would definitely be an item I would send to my daughter. I know that little hair hack so I appreciated them being included in the box. It’s clear that this box is being curated by someone who knows who the box is for!  

Ice Roller by Kitsch: This ice roller is perfect for those DIY at-home facials while away in college. I was excited to take this roller for a spin. Right out of the package, the stainless steel was nice and refreshing when I tried it. I imagine this would get a lot of use in college to relieve tension, headaches, and inflammation. Kitsch is a trusted brand, so I can already tell that it’s a high-quality item that will last. I can’t wait to put it to the test.

Shower Steamer: This eucalyptus peppermint shower steamer is a total mood. The packaging instructs you to “Breathe” and “Take a Deep Breathe” and I feel like it’s so much more than just a shower steamer. It’s a calming time-out sent straight from home. The scent was so relaxing and I loved the packaging. I cannot wait to try this out. 

Dolcenero Caramel Chocolate: I obviously had to open one of these up right away for research purposes and oh my gosh were they good!! I love the idea of including a sweet treat in the box and with each and every item I opened up I couldn’t help but imagine how much joy this box would have brought me in my college years. I remember when my mom would come to visit and would always bring me candy around Halloween or little touches from home when she visited. Opening up these chocolates brought back those memories and I know it’d be something any daughter would look back on and reflect on how much the boxes meant to her while away. 

 

College Girl Cherished October 2024 Final Thoughts

I can confidently say that this is a box I would have cherished as a college student, and with my daughters heading to college sooner than I can imagine, it’s something I would love to send them. A subscription like College Girl Cherished brings a touch of love and beautifully curated items they’ll love while they’re away. Each item in the box is something any young woman would adore and find useful. I was really pleased with the quality of each piece as well.

One of the things that really stood out to me was how intentional each item was. It really was clear that the team at College Girl Cherished knows their customer and knows what would bring a little happiness to girls away at school. As a mom, I feel like this truly is the perfect gift for any daughter navigating college life.
