Degustabox Review December 2018
Degustabox is a subscription food box, jam-packed with brand new, full-sized treats (worth nearly $40) from some of the most exciting brands out there! They bring you delicious new products delivered straight to your door every month. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Garden of Life: GOL Bar
This yummy snack is a simple protein bar that you will always want to have at your fingertips. Made from real Certified Organic, Non-GMO project verified whole food ingredients, this bar will keep you more satisfied and less “hangry”. I really enjoyed the delicious Maple Sea Salt flavor of this particular bar, and how it is sweetened naturally with pecans and dates. The flavors are on point, and I love that it’s a quick healthy choice to munch on.
G.H. Cretors Popped Corn: The Mix
The G.H. Creators The Mix popped corn is a snack that combines those salty and sweet flavors in an amazing way! With its handcrafted blend of rich buttery caramel and premium aged cheddar cheese, this upscale popcorn is addicting. I love the crunchy texture of the popcorn, and yet sweet and savory flavors the truly complement each other. When guests come over for holiday parties this month, this scrumptious treat will be gone before I can blink.
Sunspire: Sundrops
Sundrops are a great candy to use in all your baking creations during the holidays. Made with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, these tasty chocolate chips come in both milk and dark chocolate flavors that are sure to please. I am especially a big fan of the dark chocolate sundrops because of their great taste, and all the fun colors they come in. They are definitely glorified M&Ms that are filled with yummy goodness.
Campfire Marshmallows: Mini Marshmallows
These campfire premium quality mini-marshmallows are a great treat to have around the house during the winter time. From sprinkling them over hot cocoa, to making delicious homemade smores with the kids or even baking a fun dessert, these mini marshmallows are a sweet ingredient that will be used over and over again during the holiday season. I personally love to eat them out of the bag as a snack. They are super fluffy, smooth and the perfect size for an afternoon pick me up.
Hu Chocolate
Hu (short for HUman) is a cult-favorite vegan and paleontology chocolate bar that is free of dairy, palm oil, gluten and refined sugars. These bars are great to have in the house to have when you want a guilt-free treat. I really enjoyed the crunchy mint dark chocolate flavor. It’s a snack that is both super refreshing and sweet.
Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Magic Seasoning Blends: Poultry Blends
The Chef Paul Prudhomme is a tasty seasoning that will add that burst of flavor to your meals. Starring as the product of the month in the Degusta Box, the Poultry Magic Blend uses notes of garlic, onion and herbs to spice up your protein. I love its zesty taste and how it is low in sodium too. It’s a great ingredient to help transform a bland dish into a delicious one, when you’re in a time crunch.
Vahdam Teas: Turmeric Spiced
My husband and I are big tea drinkers, so when I saw Vahdam Teas in the Degusta Box, I was very excited. Made from garden fresh long leaves, this Turmeric Spiced tea will be sure to calm your body and mind at the end of the day. I enjoyed a cup of the Vahdam Tea when I had a cold this winter, and it most definitely helped to soothe my sore throat and keep me going throughout the day.
Dave’s Gourmet: Sauce
Made with a fantastic combination of jalapenos, lime, and ginger, Dave’s Gourmet Sauce is another valuable attribute to a delicious meal. With its rich creamy texture and spectacular flavor with medium heat, this sauce is great to enhance many different foods, or even use as a dip. Not only is it yummy, but it’s healthy too. As a vegan, gluten-free, and non-gmo sauce, you can feel good about putting into your body just as much as you enjoy savoring its unique taste.
Bahlsen Iced Cinnamon Stars
These iced cinnamon stars cookies are the perfect Christmas treat to enjoy with the family during holiday parties. The kids will licking that delicious icing off the hazelnut star cookies or and drinking them in milk for dessert. It’s a sweet that will definitely bring out the Christmas spirit within the family. These cookies have an irresistible scent of cinnamon that keep you wanting more.
Chimes Ginger Chews
This unique candy is chewy, smooth, and made with real Java ginger. I really enjoyed eating this delicious treat after dinner to refresh my palette and get that “after dinner taste” out of my mouth. It better than a mint because it’s all natural, gluten-free and only has 3 grams of sugar per piece. This is an awesome candy to indulge in if your are trying to watch your weight, or refrain from eating all the Christmas cookies this season.
Degustabox Review December 2018 – Final Thoughts
The December Degustabox was packed festive treats that really got me excited for the Christmas season. I was happy to find a lot of holiday sweets that were delicious to indulge in, and yet was made with a lot of natural ingredients that truly enhanced all the flavors of the product. One of my favorite goodies in the Degustabox was the Vahdam Tea. There is nothing like a great tea to help digest all those yummy holiday snacks this winter!
