Dermy Doc Box won “Best Women’s Box 2024” in our Subscription Box Awards so it is clearly well loved by subscribers! The pink box was calling my name from the moment it arrived (I’m such a sucker for pink!).  But, my eyes really lit up when I saw the little heart packing peanuts!  How cute are these?!

Already off to a good start for sure!  Dermy Doc Box also included an insert card educating us on Peptides – what they are, their benefits, and how they interact with other products and conditions. Along with that, there was a product card brochure that had all of the info on each of the products as well as pro tips to go along with each one. I loved that.

Indeed Labs Retinol Reface ($24.99)

A 3-in-1 formula combining retinol, bakuchiol, and a retinol-like peptide that work together to smooth textured skin, improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles and brighten uneven skin tone. This one is intended to be used at night.  I’m a big fan of retinol and I’m intrigued by the other ingredients that support it in this one! One thing I know for sure is a little bit of retinol goes a long way, so this one will last long enough to see results – which I love.

Avene Cleanance Acne Medicated Gel Cleanser ($24.99)

A 2% salicylic acid cleanser formulated to remove excess oil and help clear acne, blemishes, blackheads, and whiteheads while maintaining a healthy skin barrier. This can be used morning and night. In her Dermy Doc Tip, Dr. Fahs shares that Salicylic Acid is one of the best ingredients there is when it comes to mattifying the skin and controlling oil production. Say no more, Dr. Fahs! I’m in! Excited to give this one a try.

Common Care Exfoliating Scalp Scrub & Shampoo Brush ($25.98)

Ok, this is super cool! I regularly use a body scrub and exfoliate prior to shaving of course, but I’ve never tried a scalp scrub! The directions say to apply the scrub into wet hair, massage with the included brush into the scalp, and then rinse clean.

Such a brilliant idea for beating dandruff flares (which are so common in the winter) and cleansing even deeper.  I really love this set and I’m so glad that it was included in this season’s box!

Medik8 Liquid Peptides Age Defying Serum ($64)

An advanced multi-benefit serum formulated to target the appearance of expression lines and deep set wrinkles for powerful age defying results. What a score! I’ve been looking for something just like this – but you know the drill, it’s so hard to know what to believe when it comes to online advertising and influencers sharing their favorite products. But I love that I can trust the expertise of Dr. Fahs in my Dermy Doc Box to know that this is a good place to start for working down those etched wrinkles. AND, fun fact – this one can be paired with retinol without any irritation.

Joaquina Botanica Calendula + Peptides Hydrating Essence ($56)

A multi-tasking treatment that instantly hydrates, plumps, and soothes while delivering anti-aging, firming, and brightening benefits. This can be misted onto the skin after cleansing or as a way to refresh throughout the day. I can’t decide if this is my favorite find in this box or not, because there are so many in here that I love – but this is high on the list! Ages ago, when I was traveling a lot for work, I had a face mist that I LOVED to just add some hydration and a little dewy refresh after each of my flights. They discontinued it and I haven’t been able to find another one that I loved as much….until now!  I’ve been using this daily – I keep it on my desk and I absolutely love it for a midday refresh. It’s invigorating, it’s hydrating, and it leaves me with instant results. Yes, yes, yes!

Dermy Doc Box – Satin Pillowcase ($19.99)

I love this silky pillowcase for reducing hair friction while I sleep and reducing breakage and frizz. It really does make a difference when you swap your regular pillowcase for a silky option like this. Dr Fahs also shares that if you’re a side sleeper this kind of pillowcase can also reduce the appearance of sleep lines too. I love that this one is machine washable without any special care directions.

Dermy Doc Box Review Fall 2024 – Final Thoughts

I really loved this season’s Dermy Doc Box – and I can’t stop obsessing over the face mist! It’s always exciting to discover new brands and items that are not only effective but backed by science.  And I personally appreciate that I can trust the finds in this box to be curated by a professional who knows more than I do about skincare.  I want the results, but I don’t really want to have to spend a lot of my time researching and testing new things.  It’s nice that Dr. Fahs can handpick the right products for the right season and ship it right to us in this pretty pink box.
