Packaging
My first Dollar Tea Club was shipped in a nice cardboard box that was the perfect size to fit into my mailbox. With minimal packaging the box isn’t overwhelming or messy which was nice!
Inside was a welcome card that was informative and had some adorable puns. It gave information on how to purchase items directly from their website or how to add large bags of your favourite teas to your next box.
There also was a super fun “Tea Club Journal” which was helpful for marking down my favourites and helping me make tasting notes.
The metal ball tea infuser was really nice for a first-time box receiver, since I didn’t have one.
There also was three disposable tea bags that were perfect for taking tea with me on the go! Really nice to have that included since it was so convenient.
I received one HoneyStix which was a nice treat to add to my tea as well. The honey was delicious and you could taste the quality!
Now onto the teas…
Cookies & Cream
I was super excited to have a large (50g) bag of the Cookies & Cream. Oh my it is absolutely delicious! A black tea with sumac berries, cornflower, safflower & red plum petals it is like having dessert. The perfect tea with some frothed milk for an afternoon pick-me-up.
Maple Dreams
Maple Deam smells so incredible and it tastes even better. With black and green tea, cornflower and mallow petals it is simple and so delicious. A perfect blend for a weekend brunch. The colours of this tea are absolutely beautiful too! I almost didn’t want to steep it… Almost
Love AcTEAlly
Love AcTEAlly was another winner in my books. Made with black tea, calendula, safflower, sunflower petals and little candy hearts it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. No sugar needed! it’s the perfect tea for when the weather is cold.
Kompot
Kompot was a tea I’d never heard of before and I was so excited about it! Packed full of dried fruits like apples, mango, pineapple, elderberry, and orange with rosehip and hibiscus petals it was absolutely amazing. I steeped it strong and paired it with my HoneyStix, ice and sparkling water for a fruity iced tea that made me so excited for Summer!
The Maple Dream, Love AcTEALly, and Kompot came in 8g bags and I was actually able to get three servings of tea from each bag.
Final Thoughts
All in all I was so thrilled with my Dollar Tea Club Box box. Not only did I LOVE each tea but the box was super well thought out and it was nice to have something to prepare my loose-leaf tea in as well. I can’t wait for next month and thankfully they provided enough product to hold me over until then.
Happy Sipping!
