ElleBox Review April 2017

ElleBox is a premium Time of the Month Subscription Box which bundles your choice of tampons and pads with hand curated comfort and wellness goods to make that time of the month a little more pleasant – LOVE IT!! They kindly sent us this box to review.

I honestly can’t express in words how much I adore this subscription box. I’ve told you all this before, but I feel like it’s worth mentioning in every review. I freakin’ LOVE ElleBox. The older I get, the worse my “time of the month” gets, and the more I appreciate boxes like this that make my “special time” a little more bearable. If I had an unlimited subscription box budget I would get every single lady in my life (Sister, BF, Mom, Aunt, Niece) a lifetime subscription to this box.

Now let’s have a look at the items I received in my April box:

The Essentials – Regular & Super Tampons

The thing I like most about ElleBox is the fact that they only include organic pads and tampons. Their pads and tampons are free of rayon, polyester, wood pulp and pesticides. They are made from certified organic cotton. They kindly let us know that it’s better for your health and the environment, and I TOTALLY agree!!

Red Lemon Natural Living BeYOUtiful Daytime Serum

A silky daytime Moisturizer that nourishes and hydrates the skin without clogging pores. Made with regenerative Argan oil and fortified with Gamma-Linolenic Acid (sourced from pure Borage oil) to protect and fight against free-radical damage. With added therapeutic essential oils, this Daytime Serum will leave your face feeling soft, balanced and hydrated.  

I recently received this in another box, but I am just as excited to see it in this box as I was the first time around. I LOVE products like this. I haven’t had a chance to test this one out yet as I am waiting for my current face oil to run out. But let me tell you, I am beyond excited to test this one out next. And I am more than happy to have two bottles of it.

Eat My Dust Dry Shampoo

A smart beauty-hack for rushed mornings! Or to extend periods between wet washes for great hair health. A Dry Shampoo that also doubles as a Volumizing Powder.  Adds great volume with staying power. Plus it’s all natural, easy to use, and washes out like a breeze.

Ummm….this is AH-Mazing!! Now that I am trying to grow my hair out I only wash it twice a week, therefore, dry shampoo has become my new best friend. Until now I have been using the regular spray version, but every time I use it and ingest it, I worry about what it is actually made of. I will spray it in my hair and then quickly run out of the room so I ingest less of it. But now that I have this wonderful little bottle of natural powder I won’t have to worry about that. I am beyond excited right now!!

Tea by Tea Sparrow

This month we received Cardamon Vanilla Rooibos, the same blend we received in the last couple boxES. I totally don’t mind receiving it again as it has become a favourite. I have this in the afternoon with a light snack……usually apples and peanut butter.

Hagensborg Chocolate

Oh my goodness! They are killing me with this chocolate!! It’s sad how excited I get about a bar of chocolate these days. I blame it on the brand. Hagensborg is my new favourite chocolate. I even like it more than Purdy’s and that is a big statement coming from a Purdy’s addict like myself.  Honestly, if you haven’t tried this chocolate, you MUST!! I have conveniently liked to the Amazon listing above……highly recommend you give it a try!

ElleBox Review April 2017 – Final Thoughts

ElleBox consistently delivers an amazing box month after month. It is easily one of my favourite boxes to receive. Now that I have experienced Time of the Month boxes there’s absolutely no way I could ever go back to my old ways of dragging myself to the store once a month to purchase the dreaded tampons. I feel like ElleBox has really hit their stride, and part of that is due to the Hagensborg Chocolate, I know that might sound funny but it is true!! I also really love that they featured items from Red Lemon Natural Living this month……I feel like that is also going to become a favourite. This month’s product lineup us my favourite thus far. Keep it coming ElleBox……keep it coming!
