ElleBox Review February 2017

ElleBox is a premium monthly subscription service which bundles your choice of tampons and pads with hand curated comfort and wellness goods to make that time of the month a little more pleasant – LOVE IT!! They kindly sent us this box to review.

I’m a little late with my February ElleBox review but it literally just showed up. I was actually starting to think it wasn’t going to arrive, and I was really sad about it. I missed receiving this box last month, I really and truly did. My “special time” came and went, and it just wasn’t as bearable without ElleBox to provide me with some comfort items. I’ve said this before and I will say it again, EVERY woman needs a Time of the Month Subscription in their life!

Every month I review the Comfort Box and in my opinion it is the only way to go. Here’s a look at the items I received in my February Box:

Organic Tampons (ribbon not included)

Soooooo…….I did a little research while writing this month’s review and found the following info on the ElleBox website:

Why Organic Tampons? – There is no federal regulation for current feminine hygiene brands to fully disclose the ingredients in the pads and tampons we purchase off the shelves. With vaginal tissue being the most absorbent part of the body and having a direct link to your reproductive organs, the last thing we want is bleach, dioxin and other chemicals in our blood stream every month. Come on ladies, we deserve better! Our pads and tampons are free of rayon, polyester, wood pulp and pesticides. Our products are made from certified organic cotton, it’s better for your health and the environment.

I love, love, love that they include these in their boxes. I usually keep a couple in my purse at all times.

Om Organics Lip Butter

An ultra rich lip butter to keep your lips supple and smooth. 

Such a simple product but a great one at that. I am always happy to receive lip butter. I feel like I go through lip balm faster than I do hair ties.

Om Organics Hand & Foot Repair Cream

I love this! I am always in need of hand and foot cream. I usually apply it before bed and first thing in the morning. It’s the weirdest thing, I can’t sleep if my feet are dry. This particular cream smells amazing and it is made without sulphates, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, or peg compounds.

Scrub Supply Co. Turmeric Face Scrub

100% organic turmeric mask, vegan and all-natural. Even out your skin tone, fight acne and brighten up your day with this face mask. 

Well isn’t this just super fun! A face mask made with turmeric. I am super intrigued. You are to use the provided scoop to mix one and a half scoops of Turmeric Scrub with half a scoop of water. Apply and massage onto face and neck area. Set your timer for 15 minutes, turn on some music and relax. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. I can’t WAIT to try this!!

Tea Sparrow Cardamom Vanilla Rooibos

I have really come to love Tea Sparrow Tea. I’ve had it quite often over the past few years and really love their flavours. This month’s selection is absolutely perfect. I love Rooibos since it is herbal, I love vanilla, and I love cardamom. I am going to try to save this for my “special time” but it might be hard.

Hagensborg Chocolate

Ummm……BEST CHOCOLATE EVER!!! I am a chocolate connoisseur and this is hands down, the best chocolate I have ever tasted in my entire life. And I’ve eaten a lot of chocolate in my day. I usually gift the chocolate I receive in my subscription boxes because I try to stay away from sugar, but there’s absolutely no way I am ever gifting this particular brand ever again. I gave a bar to Ashley a couple month’s ago and regret that decision to this day. They NEED to come out with their own subscription box. I would be a lifetime subscriber.

ElleBox Review February 2017 – Final Thoughts

Oh ElleBox, how I have missed you so. Please never arrive late ever again. I go through withdrawals when I have to wait for you to arrive. You make my time of the month easier to handle, and you provide me with the BEST chocolates ever! You care about my health by providing me with organic tampons, and you give me an excuse to slow down and take time for myself each month. I would be lost without you. You complete me. Until next month…….
