I did something a little different this month. I decided to use my February outfit as a bit of an experiment. I pride myself on being a seasoned professional when it comes to Fabletics, but I want to take it a step further and test out some different sizes/styles. For as long as I can remember I have been ordering the same size and the same style of capris, month after month. I have ventured out a bit, but always end up going to back to ol’ faithful. For February I decided to order a size smaller than I normally do, and I went with a different style of bottoms and top than I typically feel comfortable with.

Here’s a look at my February outfit:

Lisette High-Waisted Leggings

We’re only going up from here. Welcome our first-ever high-waisted legging to the game. It features all of the performance elements (sweat-wicking & UPF 50+) that you love, along with a power mesh-lined waistband for extra support and streamlining.

I have ordered a couple of pairs of leggings over the years, but have never really been 100% happy with them. Well, that all changed this month because the Lisette Leggings are FREAKIN’ awesome! I decided to order a size smaller than I typically do because my complaint in the past has been the extra room in the knee area. I was a little scared that they would be too small but they fit like a glove…..like a freakin’ glove!! I want to live in these things, I want to wear them to bed, and I want a pair in every color of the rainbow. Just for reference, I am in between a 4 and 6 when if comes to Lululemon sizes, so these would definitely have a similar fit as I could wear either a small or x-small, but the x-small is just so much more flattering. How in the world has it taken me so long to test the sizing out!!!

Demi Tank

Shape up in our draped, open-back performance tank with a delicate lace trim for enhanced airflow. But don’t worry, its moisture-control fabric and a move-easy construction are anything but dainty.

Here again I ordered an x-small where I usually order a small. And once again it fits perfectly! I also went for a different color. I always opt for black when it is available, but this spring inspired color (appropriately named carnation) was just too pretty to pass up. I was surprised to discover that the crossed material in the back is actually stitched together so it stays closed and just gives the appearance of being draped. It is so darn pretty!! I will definitely be venturing away from black again in the future.

Fabletics Review February 2017

Wow, wow, wow! This is by far the best Fabletics outfit I have ever received. Everything is absolutely perfect, from the fit, to the style, to the pattern and colours, and everything in between. I am so glad I decided to experiment with sizing as the x-small leggings are so much more flattering, and the pretty pastel colours are so much fun! Sadly this outfit is now sold out, but I’m really not surprised. I was hoping their March selections would have included another outfit with the Lisette Leggings but I wasn’t able to find one. I NEED another pair of these in my life ASAP.
