Summer is in full swing and I have officially decided that my mom uniform needs a bit of a makeover. If you saw my last two Frank And Oak Style Plan reviews you will know that I focused on jeans and sweatshirts…..aka “mom uniform”. But I switched things up a little this month and went back to a previous Frank And Oak favourite……their amazing dresses.
How It Works

Here’s a peek at my July Frank And Oak Style Plan box…..
The Hybrid Crewneck in Black
Loose fit. Crewneck. Raglan sleeves. With technology Drirelease®. Made with recycled polyester sourced from discarded plastic bottles.
Ok….so I couldn’t get away from my mom uniform completely but I blame it on the awesome style and fit of this sweatshirt. The fabric is amazing and every closet needs a classic black sweatshirt. I already ordered the grey version and have been wearing it non-stop.
Textured Camp Collar Dress in Brown
Regular fit. Camp collar. Button front closure. Belted.
Here’s where we are stepping away from the jean/sweatshirt combo and getting back to what I really love….dresses. This one is a color I don’t wear often but have been gravitating towards as of late. Plus….I can totally picture it with a pair of white runners!
It does fit a little loose but the belt makes up for that by adding a definition in the waist area. Also, it will be a great transition piece from Summer to Fall.
The SuperSoft V-Neck Tee in Oatmeal
Super soft, Loose fit V-neck Tee. Made from 73% Tencel® Modal, 27% polyester.
Lastly we have a Frank And Oak Style Plan staple….in my personal opinion. I own this v-neck in a few other colors and wear them often. They are great with jeans and/or layered under my Frank And Oak jumpers. The material is oh-so-soft and the fit is lovely.
Frank And Oak Style Plan Review July 2020 – Final Thoughts
Ok…so maybe I didn’t get away from my mom uniform completely with this month’s Frank And Oak Style Plan box but it’s a step in the right direction. Dresses are a great way to feel like you are dressed up while still being comfortable. Pair them with some runners and you have a great everyday outfit perfect for running errands, chasing babies, etc… The black sweatshirt was a no-brainer because it’s a capsule wardrobe staple, as is the beige t-shirt. All three pieces are items I would highly recommend and see myself wearing often.
