I have been a fan of Gentleman’s Box for quite some time. When it comes to men’s subscription boxes, this is often one of the first that comes to mind. It’s reasonably priced, extremely professional and each box is based on a theme.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the July Classic Box….
July Theme
This month’s Gentleman’s Box is honouring our favorite “Protector of the Sea”. An American actor, outdoor adventure seeker, family man, and all-around man of the sea.
Sock Life UK Socks ($15)
Sock Life is focused on providing you with wonderful socks that can be worn with your casual clothes or smart attire. They are a growing brand, dedicated to brining you more variety.
As soon as I opened the July box I was greeted by this amazing shade of coral. It grabbed my attention immediately, as did the pattern on the socks. I’m not sure we have ever received a pattern like this. I love the coral/blue color combo. We are off to a good start.
AusCufflinks Tie ($35)
AusCufflinks was born from a desire to offer quality when it came to men’s accessories game. Starting their line with a range of dapper cufflinks (hence the name) and later expanding to include ties, bow ties & pocket square, the brand offers a 5 year warranty on all their goods. Needless to say, the benchmark has been lifted.
It’s pretty obvious that the tie matches the socks perfectly. Normally I prefer something a little less matchy-matchy but there’s something about the tie/sock pairing that I really love. I think it’s the bold color scheme. Perfect for the summer months.
Soft Landing Brand Notebook ($20)

I’m a sucker for notebooks and am always happy to receive them in my subscription boxes. This one is classy and simple – just the way I like it.
Soft Landing Brand Pen ($10)
What good is a notebook without a pen? This pen goes great with your new notebook to help capture your thoughts at any moment.
They nailed it! “What good is a notebook without a pen?” – it’s no good! I love it when subscription boxes think of the little details. It adds value to the box. And…..can we talk about this pen! It’s amazing.
Gentleman Collective Tie Bar ($20)
Gentleman Collective is your guide to dressing well from head to toe. When you wear Gentleman Collective you help build a future. Fifteen percent of your purchase is donated to the Children’s Aid Foundation.
Lastly we have a classic silver tie bar which rounds out the box nicely. It’s a classic style that any guy will love. But….it would have been ten times better if it was gold to match the pen.
Gentleman’s Box Review July 2019 – Final Thoughts
The July Gentleman’s Box is great, as per usual. I’ve come to expect nothing less from this quality men’s subscription box. I fell in love with the July box the moment I opened it and was greeted by the amazing colors and summer worthy patterns. Great value, great curation and appropriate for the season. Just what I like to see from Gentleman’s Box.
