Gentleman’s Box Review March 2017
Gentleman’s Box is a subscription box that caters to the modern gentleman. Each month honors a noteworthy gentleman from the past or present. Items in their subscription box for men are hand selected to reflect the carefully crafted image of that month’s honored gentleman. Four to five products, including a subscription to GQ magazine, arrive at your doorstep monthly. They kindly sent us this box to review.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Gentleman’s Box, it is one of the more popular men’s subscription boxes on the market. It is reasonably priced and includes a fun variety of items every month. I just realized that I never received my February box so I’m not sure what they included last month, but the January box included a tie, socks, lapel pin, pocket square and lip balm.
This month they are featuring their favourite Archaeologist and the box appears to have a bit of a rustic feel to it.
Good to Know:
- Each month we receive The Gentleman’s Post booklet, included is information about the featured gentleman, a note from Gentleman’s Box, product info, style inspiration, tips & tricks, and the featured member of the month
- Since this is a review box I don’t receive the monthly edition of GQ that is included with regular subscriptions
Gentlemen Essentials Accessory Tray ($35)
Now you have a central home that makes your accessories more accessible. Keep track of your watch, keys, phone, cufflinks, and whatever you use on a daily basis.
This is a unique item, unlike anything I have received in my men’s subscriptions in the past. I actually really love the idea of this. I’m a very organized person and like for everything to have its place. This handy little tray will keep the BF’s accessories nicely organized.
Kiko Cord Holder ($5)
This month keep your cords untangled and ready for use at all times with the Kiko leather cord holder. This nifty tool, crafted with reinforced leather will keep your cords untangled and ready for use.
I have received cord holders in a couple other boxes and think they are a genius idea. I have one in my gym bag and one in my purse. I like to have my earbuds with me at all times so my cord holders have definitely come in handy. Now the BF can have one for his travel bag.
Unsimply Stitched Socks ($12)
Unsimply Stitched will make your outfit “unsimply” unique. The everyman sock brand offers many different designs that will allow you to express yourself. Exclusive to Gentleman’s Box, this design will add some color to make your neutral coloured suit pop.
This is a really unique sock design, unlike anything I have received thus far. Out of all the mens’ socks I receive, Unsimply Stitched is definitely a favourite brand.
Armoir Fashion Leather Bracelet ($28)
This month we bring you Armoir’s Leather Bracelet. On the bracelet you will see that there are three metal fasteners. You can remove the fasteners so that the band can fit your wrist size.
This is a really nice change from the beaded bracelets we usually receive in men’s subscription boxes. This is a little more masculine and fits the theme perfectly.
Defined Men Leather Cufflinks ($29)
Defined Men works hard to achieve one goal, to help the stylish man define himself from the rest: most notably by his style. They provide men with the finest accessories to take his style, whether formal or casual, to a higher standard: because no one else is defined like you.
GB has put together a box full of unique items this month. I’ve never seen a pair of cufflinks like this before. They definitely make a statement.
Gentleman’s Box Review March 2017 – Final Thoughts
This month’s Gentleman’s Box is unique and full of really great products. I like that they switched out the tie for a home decor item, and I like that all the items have a rustic, masculine vibe. The total retail value of this month’s box is $109 which is pretty great considering the subscription itself only costs $25 to the US & $33 to Canada. If you are looking for great value, quality items and fun themes you can’t go wrong with Gentleman’s Box.
