Gentleman’s Box Review September 2016

Gentleman’s Box Review September 2016

Did you see last month’s Gentleman’s Box review? It was pretty great. The purple tie, the floral pocket square, and the sunglasses? Probably one of my favourite Gentleman’s Boxes to date. Part of me still wishes I could wear the tie…..is that weird? Anyways, today we are looking at the September box. I always look forward to this time of year because Fall subscription boxes are the best.

September Theme

You are all probably familiar with GB by now, but just incase there are any new readers out there, let me quickly tell you about the monthly theme. Each month Gentleman’s Box honors a noteworthy gentleman and they theme the box after said gentleman. This moth they are honoring “Our Favourite All-American Author”. As per usual, I have no clue who it is. I would be the WORST at Jeopardy.

Evoke Patriot Socks

You can’t celebrate the All-American Author without some patriotic socks, right? Evoke socks brings you some of the most comfortable foot mittens known to man.

Socks are pretty self-explanatory. But one thing I can say, I love getting new socks. I think it’s a great idea to include them every month.

Wolf Clothing Co. Gold Feather Lapel Pin

An elegant lapel pin is the perfect accessory to any man’s suit. This month Gentleman’s Box works exclusively with Wolf Clothing Co. to bring you the gold feather pin, a nice change up from the typical flower lapel.

Very cool idea! I love the look of this lapel pin. I’m tempted to say I like it more than the flower pins…..almost.

Urban Professor Mantra Journal

Every gentleman needs to take notes, even in the digital age. Urban Professor brings you a gentleman’s journal, perfect for you to record your genius ideas and keep on top of your busy to-do list.

If your guy needs to take notes, this is the book for him to take notes in.

Gentleman Essentials Lion Head Bracelet

Gentleman’s Essentials is back to bring you a men’s beaded bracelet, exclusive for Gentleman’s Box members. Each bead is a composition of glass and metal, complete with a lion’s head. The lion is a symbol of ferocity and strength, characteristics that any gentleman should exhibit.

Architect For Men Shampoo

Architect for Men brings you their first signature shampoo, Blueprint. Using cleansing agents derived from natural resources, our daily shampoo helps break down excess oil in hair, allowing it to be gently rinsed away.

Gentleman’s Box Review September 2016

Maybe not my favourite box from Gentleman’s Box, but I like that they switched it up a little. It’s always good to mix things up and include a few different items. I definitely miss the tie, but I will get over it. They stuck with the theme and that’s all I can ask for. I love the value (as I always do) and I love the professional nature of the box. The lapel pin is pretty cool, I’ve never received something like that before, and I like the meaning behind the bracelet.

What do you think of this month’s Gentleman’s Box? Do you like to see a tie in every box?

XOXO
