GlobeIn Artisan Box Review December 2020
GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring handmade, ethically sourced products from makers around the world. Each month subscribers can choose from a selection of boxes curated around a theme. I’ve been hoping for a baking box for ages now so I was so excited when December’s Batter Box arrived on my doorstep. I think it’s my favourite one yet! *

Each GlobeIn box is valued around $70 USD (sometimes more) and includes four to five items. Subscribers can also choose additional products to customize their box.
Subscription prices are as follows (all prices in USD):
- 1 month — $40
- 3-month subscription — $38/month ($114)
- 6-month subscription — $35/month ($210)
- 12-month subscription –$33/month ($396)
Shipping in the US is $10/month (your first box ships free); shipping to Canada $22/month (your first box ships free); and international shipping is $25/month.
Each GlobeIn Artisan Box usually includes a full-colour brochure with some information about that month’s products and the makers and organizations behind them. For December GlobeIn put the brochure online and included a simple introductory card instead. I’m not surprised by the change — it’s an easy way to cut costs and more environmentally friendly too.
Large Ceramic Batter Bowl, Morocco
This batter bowl is the stuff my baking dreams are made of! The pastel pink and creamy vanilla reminds me of cupcakes and sugar cookies and strawberry shortcakes and the generous size is big enough for a triple-layer cake batter or double batch of pancakes. I have plenty of mixing bowls but none with a handle or a spout, and none that are pink or as pretty as this one. Handwash recommended.

Small Handpainted Syrup Cruet, Palestinian Territories
Speaking of pancakes, this little jug for syrup will be so sweet alongside our next batch. I’ll just have to keep a close eye on the ceramic stopper so it doesn’t get broken.
Handpainted Whisk, India
We have a large whisk and a small whisk that get all kinds of use and it’ll be handy to have another. The handprinted detail on this one is just beautiful and I love how the colours go so nicely with the batter bowl and the wee jug.
The GlobeIn Artisan Box Batter Box was such a wonderful surprise, and so beautifully curated.
