The theme for this month’s box is “Rise & Shine”. Have I mentioned how much I have been loving their themes lately! The February box is all about morning time….which just happens to be my FAVOURITE time of the day, I actually get sad when lunch time rolls around because that means morning time is over. It says that this month’s kit is here to inspire a little joyful revision into your AM scheme….bring it on!
Olive Wood Spreader – It says to use this to spread something soft and delicious onto something warm and crisp. This is perfect, seeing as I am on a huge toast kick right now. A warm piece of toast and a cup of coffee in the morning is seriously the best thing ever……well maybe not better than wine and chocolate, but it’s definitely a close second.
Olive Wood Spatula – A spatula is a bakers best friend, so I’m literally floating around my kitchen with happiness right now. It says to use this bad boy for pancakes….I’ll be using it for a little bit of everything.
Argan Almond Butter – Almond butter is my jam! And yes, I know how dorky that sounds…but it is. I love any sort of nut butter, and was really surprised to see this in the box. This one contains argan oil and clover honey….how good does that sound.
Block Print Trivet – Another friend of the professional baker, I can never have too many pot holders. When I’m in the zone I can have up to 6 muffin trays on the go at once, so this will come in handy. And it doesn’t hurt that it is absolutely gorgeous.
Palm Leaf Basket – If you are familiar with GlobeIn then you know we get one of these in every box. I will be using this month’s basket to put together a little thank you gift for my friend Ashley….hopefully she isn’t reading this.
Thoughts: I honestly can’t get over how much I love this subscription. I never thought I would be a fan of artisan goods, but I am now, that’s for sure. Handmade items are just so much more special than commercial goods. I love that there is a story behind each one, and that they are so gorgeous! I struggle each month when it comes to the products in my GlobeIn basket because I love them and want to use them right away, but at the same time they are so darn pretty that I don’t want to wreck them…..what’s a girl to do!
XOXO
