GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring favorite products from global artisans. Each box is curated around a monthly theme selected by the editor with the aim of helping you experience new and interesting products and cultures. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Can I just say how much I am loving the fact that GlobeIn now offers two Artisan Boxes each month! I think this is a genius idea. By having two options they are appealing to a larger audience each month. If you don’t like the first box you can always opt to receive the second. But…..if you are anything like me you will have the problem of loving both boxes which means you might need to sign up for two subscriptions. Is that even a thing?
Today we are reviewing the first of two GlobeIn Artisan Boxes for May: Lunch
May Theme
Introducing the GlobeIn Lunchbox! Your new up cycled lunch bag, hand-made cloth napkin, Tri Bento lunchbox, and super sleek spork are all durable, eco-friendly, and so cleverly designed that the kindergartener in you will undoubtedly get a little giddy at whatever time the proverbial recess bell goes a’ringing.
Note: We also received a $30 off coupon for www.matterprints.com
Tri Bento Lunchbox – India
Craft a well-balanced meal. Put your main in the large bottom layer, a salad or veggies in the middle and a fruit or snack on top! Heat over a stove or campfire, not in the microwave.
Love, love, love stainless steel bowls!! I prefer these over plastic bowls any day. I love that this one has different compartments. I feel like I want a few more of these……it will also be perfect for leftovers.
Upcycled Lunch Bag – Kenya
This is great!! I love reusable bags, and I love when they come in different shapes and sizes. Believe it or not, I have a collection of reusable bag. I sorted through them just the other day and can’t bring myself to part with any of them. This smaller version is perfect for me because I always brings snacks with me in the car. I’d much rather have a dedicated snack bag rather than keeping them in my purse…….because let’s be honest, my purse is heavy enough as it is.
Cloth Napkin – India
Imagine a napkin that’s not finished off with one swipe, that truly lasts throughout your entire meal, and that is well, beautiful. Your new hand-printed and dyed napkin is that wish.
Not only is this gorgeous, but it’s the perfect accessory for my new lunchbag. One of my pet peeves when it comes to eating on the go is having nothing to wipe my hands on. This is the perfect item for me……it really is.
Spork – Sweden
It’s slightly silly….it’s super practical….it’s the spork, swooping into your lunch bag to save the day. Be it a soup day, salad day, or sandwich that needs slicing day, your new lunch-time multi-tool is up to the task.
How is it that I don’t yet have one of these genius inventions in my possession? You don’t know how often I need both a fork and a spoon to eat some sort of lunchtime meal. Especially the salads that are full of little tiny pieces of veggies, nuts or seeds…..you need a fork and a spoon to get all the bits at the bottom of the bowl. I love this thing!!
GlobeIn Artisan Box Review May 2017: Lunch
I am loving this box more than I thought I would. The GlobeIn Artisan Box (Lunch) is actually pretty perfect for me. I recently did away with all the plastic containers in our house. The BF came home from work and wasn’t too excited about the idea. He will thank me one day. Any who…..I now have a collection of glass and stainless steel pieces, my favourite being the stainless steel. I have two stainless bowls and am more than happy to add a third….especially one that has different compartments. I use my other stainless bowls daily, they are my favourite. I think it was a really great idea for GlobeIn to focus on these sort of products this month. I also really love the items they included with the bowl. I feel like I will get a lot of use out of all four pieces. My lunchbox game will be on point!
