GlobeIn Artisan Box Review October 2016

GlobeIn Artisan Box Review October 2016

Oh my goodness, did you see last month’s GlobeIn Artisan Box review? It was my FAVOURITE box thus far. The September Threads box was absolute perfection, and I was worried they would never be able to top it. But here we are with the October box, and although it’s not as amazing as the Threads box, it’s still pretty awesome. I may have seen spoilers already…..

October Theme

This month’s GlobeIn Artisan Box theme is Gather. “Celebrate your table and all it stands for with this box’s hand-picked, hand-carved, and hand-woven accoutrement. Cheers to festive cups that overfloweth.” This month’s theme couldn’t be more perfect. The Winter season is the best time for gathering. With Thanksgiving and Christmas comes family time. And with family time comes food and wine…….and more wine.

Recycled Cotton Coasters – India

Suggested use: Watch them flutter in a coffee table breeze beneath a glass of something crisp and seasonal.

I am in love with these coasters. We are finally settled in the new house and I am in the process of decorating. My colors just happen to be white and grey, so these little lovelies came at the perfect time.

Bread Basket Woven in Another World – Mexico

Suggested use: Nothing draws a family to the table like freshly baked bread.

It’s just about time for me to take over hosting family dinners. I may even end up hosting Christmas dinner in our new home. And believe it or not, I don’t own a bread basket. This is a welcome addition to my serveware. And it just happens to be gorgeous.

Neem Wood Salad Grabbers – India

Offer these beautiful hands to your table, and gather some salad in style. Suggested use: Toss and serve!

I try to serve salad with every meal so these will be used again, and again, and again…..

Palm Leaf Placemats – Mexico (basket substitute)

Suggested use: Place on your table between meals, or use during the meal to protect your table from hot dishes.

These gorgeous placemats are the basket substitute for the month. Subscribers have the option to choose these over the regular palm leaf basket that comes with every box. I definitely love my palm leaf baskets, but I love these placemats just as much.

GlobeIn Artisan Box Review October 2016 – Final Thoughts

Well, it’s definitely not the Threads Box, but it’s pretty darn close. The Gather theme makes my heart happy, I love all of the items. I have already used the placemats, and I have the coasters sitting on my coffee table. How do they continue to do it month after month? I ask myself that every time I open the box. And can we talk about the price? I feel like I don’t talk about it enough. $40 for a box of gorgeous handmade goods is extremely reasonable. You definitely wouldn’t be able to go to the store and get coasters, a basket, salad grabbers and placemats for less than that. This box always puts a smile on my face.

XOXO
