GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring handmade, ethically sourced products from makers around the world. Each month subscribers can choose from a selection of boxes curated around a theme. Here’s a look at the Bash box that was kindly sent for review for September 2021.

Each GlobeIn Box is valued at $70 to $150 USD and usually includes four to five items. Subscribers can also choose additional products to customize their box.

Subscription prices are as follows (all prices in USD):

Shipping in the US is $10/month (your first box ships free); shipping to Canada $22/month (your first box ships free); and international shipping is $25/month.

Each GlobeIn box includes a welcome card with a picture of the contents on one side and a QR code for the online brochure on the other. The brochure sets the tone for the box with an introductory message suggesting uses for the products, followed by descriptions of the contents and the makers behind them.

Napkin Holder (Thailand)

This beautifully handcrafted napkin holder fits perfectly with my décor. We love having a touch of wooden details in our home to create that organic modern vibe. The quality of the wood is also superb – it’s actually crafted using wood from an Acacia tree. What I love most though is how the Thai people return to the areas where they forest and replant trees in the same area as they strongly believe in taking care of their environment.

Tall Flared Drinking Glass – Set of 2 (Morocco)

In the last days of summer, I am trying to soak up every bit of it that I can. These stylish green drinking classes from Morocco are perfect to hold a cold drink after a long day. I love how these glasses are made from recycled glass and after reading the online brochure I found that they are hand blown using sustainable methods. I’ll be sure to use these with top shelf ingredients.

Raffia Woven Ceramic Bowl – White (Morocco)

The attention to detail on this bowl is remarkable. You can tell that the artisan, Hadda from Khaloufi Abdeslam’s studio in Morocco, is incredibly skilled. In fact, she has been weaving raffia since she was a child in the 1960’s. I absolutely appreciate the talent behind this bowl – so much so that I was hesitant to actually use it, thinking that it would be difficult to care for after use. However; on the online brochure they include care instructions (for all of the items!). This bowl is hand wash only and needs to be dried immediately after to keep the integrity of the raffia.

GlobeIn Artisan Box Review September 2021 – Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed all the items in this months GlobeIn box and I love that I have received items from the other side of the globe. The online brochure really tells the personal stories of the artisans and connects you to the pieces in a way that feels like you hand selected the items from small shops yourself. I can’t wait to bring these items out at the next bash.
