Did you know that GLOSSYBOX has been around since 2011? This means two things – they are one of the original subscription boxes, and they must know what they are doing. The subscription box world is finicky. Subscription boxes come and go on a regular basis. So…..anytime I come across a box that has been in business longer than 3 years I immediately think – this must be a good one.

When you sign up for a GLOSSYBOX subscription you can choose from the following options:

Every month you will receive a selection of five beauty treats that include niche, high-end, and emerging brands.

They source products from all over the world—to bring you the absolute best in beauty. With over 400 brands in their repertoire.

Inside each box, they provide you with a detailed description card with tips and tricks on how to use the products included.

Yes! We are off to a good start! I love this brand! We received a full-size bottle of Rituals Foaming Shower Gel in a previous box and I absolutely loved it. It’s exactly as they describe – rich, creamy, foamy.

Karl Lagerfeld + Modelco Baked Blush in Rose Beige

Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo Baked Blush creates a warm glow to brighten and highlight every complexion. The micronized colour pigments and luxurious pressed powder delivers a sheer, natural radiance that lasts all day.

Normally I wouldn’t be attracted to a product like this but I like the idea of sheer, natural radiance so I might have to give it a try. It’s absolutely gorgeous, how could I not test it out?!

Oolution Eye Love

Eye love is a 100 % natural eye contour. It contains more than 65 botanical active ingredients (all organically grown) for a tailored action. Eye Love reduces dark circles and bags thanks to its vasoconstrictive and detoxifying natural ingredients. With its moisturizing and draining efficacy, it minimizes the visible signs of fatigue in the eye contour area.

Now this is what I like to see! I love a good eye cream and I love testing new ones out. Believe it or not I like to keep an eye cream in my purse, especially when we travel. My under eye area gets dry easily so I am constantly applying cream to give myself a more rested look.

This is a product that doesn’t apply to me as I have very dark eyebrows as it is. But……..I know of 3 (maybe 4) people off the top of my head who are always asking me about brow products. This item will make a wonderful gift.

La Roche-Posay Face Wipes

Our facial wipes cleanse away oil and pore clogging impurities, down to microscopic pollution particles. They visibly tighten pores and refine skin texture. They are formulated with micro-exfoliating Lip-Hydroxy Acid and oil-targeting Zinc Pidolate. This refreshing, no-rince formula can be used daily as a face cleanser for oily skin.

This is a must-have product for me. I use face wipes often and try to keep a pack handy for road trips and vacations. I like that this particular wipe is made with a no-rinse formula and that it can be used daily.

GLOSSYBOX Review April 2018 – Final Thoughts

GLOSSYBOX is THE beauty subscription box…..in my opinion. They curate an amazing box month after month and they work with the best brands. The April box only includes one product I can’t use, but it will make for an amazing gift. Every month they provide me with at least one beauty essential, at least one product I’ve never tried and they always introduce me to great new brands. GLOSSYBOX is professional, consistent and beautifully packaged. What more can you ask for?!
