Good Guygiene Review August 2024

If there’s one thing teen and tween boys get squirmish talking about – it’s down there care. But guess what? Good Guygiene isn’t shying away from it, and neither are we! This month’s Good Guygiene box, fittingly themed “Bitts & Butts,” is all about teaching our young guys how to keep that area clean, fresh, and comfortable. It’s a tough job, but someone (or rather, some products) has to do it.

They kindly sent us this box for review.

Unboxing the August 2024 Good Guygiene Box

Along with the practical goodies in this box, there’s always an educational insert that’s a must-read. Think of it as a mini hygiene class, but way less awkward.  This month’s insert features the “down there care checklist” – and we are here for it!  It covers the essentials like showering, using powder, how to avoid chafing, picking the right underwear, and yes, wiping wisely (…and all the boy moms high-five Good Guygiene for tackling this topic for us!).

Let’s have a closer look inside the August 2024 Good Guygiene box…

Fresh Butt Powder: Starting off strong with a HUGE bottle of powder. I actually couldn’t believe the size – so much value. It’s exactly what it sounds like—a powder to keep things fresh, dry, and odor-free where it counts. Perfect for those long days when sitting in class can feel like an endurance test… Good Guygiene even describes how to use the powder (and all the products in this month’s box!) so that they’ll actually put them to use. There’s nothing worse than giving your kids the tools they need to maintain their hygiene, and then seeing them remain unopened for days. I love that they’re taking it an extra step and teaching them how to use them too.

Happy Nuts Comfort Cream: Chafing. It’s the unspoken enemy of many a young guy. Fortunately, Good Guygine is coming to the rescue with a chafe buster from Happy Nuts.  We got the Comfort Cream but other subscribers may have received an Anti-Chafing Stick. Both are great options for preventing that dreaded burn-y feeling that comes with too much movement and too much moisture. The comfort cream is really neat, it starts out like a lotion and dries like a powder. It has a great masculine scent too that my boys love!

Dude Wipes: Ok, these are perfect for keeping things clean and fresh down there after using the bathroom. I especially love that Good Guygiene is helping to save our septic system by reminding them that even though they’re flushable, they should be tossed in the garbage just to be safe.  This is a great find, I can’t wait to put them in my boys’ bathroom!

Loo Drops: Oh my goodness I literally laughed out loud when I first spotted these! How hilarious. Loo Drops is a little bottle of magic you drop into the toilet before you go, helping to minimize odors. It’s a small touch, but it makes a big difference, especially if you’re sharing the bathroom with others! It’s a natural formula and smells like a delicious blend of essential oil.  It’s made of lavender, cedarwood, and rosemary – so yummy. Again, another full size bottle that will definitely last a while.

Organic Cotton Underwear: These are so great! Soft, breathable, and designed for comfort, these undies are the final piece of the puzzle. It’s true that choosing the right underwear can make all the difference when it comes to avoiding irritation and keeping things comfortable all day long so these are a definite win. The brand we received is NADS but others may have received City Threads. I couldn’t believe how soft they are, excellent quality, and they even included a discount code for repeat purchases which I will definitely be using.

Fart Whistle: I mean, you can’t send a boy a box of “down there care” and not include something like this!! Good Guygiene always includes a fun gift for the boys receiving the box and this one was an embarrassingly exciting toy for everyone…my husband included. Boys will be boys no matter how old they get, right?

Good Guygiene Review August 2024 – Final Thoughts

Good Guygiene continues to tackle the not-so-glamorous side of growing up, and this month’s “Bitts & Butts” box is a prime example of why they do it so well. From the education to the products, to the humor – they’ve covered all the bases (or should I say, all the bits and butts). I keep going back to the tremendous value that’s in this box!  Seriously, all these full size, high quality, toxin free products – I’d never be able to buy all these items for the price of this box – not to mention how they deliver it in such an engaging way for boys.

If you’re on the hunt for a subscription box that makes hygiene a breeze for your son, Good Guygiene should be at the top of your list. They simplify the process by delivering exactly what he needs, and they do it in a way that’s both fun and educational. As a mom, it’s reassuring to know that these essential lessons are covered so well!

What did you think of this month’s Good Guygiene box and what themes would you like to see them tackle next?
