They say first impressions matter, and that goes for your hands too! This month’s Good Guygiene box is all about taking your nail game from “grime time” to “prime time” with the theme “Nailing It.” As a mom, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a subscription box that tackles hygiene in a fun and engaging way, especially for something like nail care that might seem a little boring at first glance. But trust me, with this box, it’s anything but boring.
They kindly sent us this box for review.

Unboxing the July 2024 Good Guygiene Box
As always, I was immediately impressed with the presentation. Good Guygiene knows how to grab a tween/teen boy’s attention with its colorful green interior and eye-catching insert.
Let’s have a closer look inside the July 2024 Good Guygiene box…
Rockwell Nail Trimming Kit: Let’s be honest, nail clippers can be kind of intimidating for a young guy. I’ve often wondered if my kids will ever be able to independently clip their own nails before they go off to college, but I think that’s about to change. This kid has all the tools a guy needs in one handy case. It includes fingernail clippers, toenail clippers, tweezers, a nail file/cleaner, and even nail scissors. Plus, the case is sleek– compact and durable, so it can easily be tossed in a bag for travel. I love that Good Guygiene explains how to use each item, and how often in the product insert card. No more excuses for raggedy nails, boys!
Dr Sqatch Spearmint Soap Bar & Soap Dish: I wish you could smell this from your screen! It smells absolutely incredible. I could smell it immediately when I got close to the box, and it’s invigorating. I really like the natural wood look of the soap dish – it’s got a cool look that my boys like. On the product insert card, boys learn about how long they’re supposed to wash their hands and a fun (aka gross!) fact that human hands carry 3200 different germs from at least 150 different species at any given time! Blech! If that doesn’t teach them to wash up properly, I don’t know what will. But I think this is a great start.
Nail Brush: Time to get down and dirty! I love that they thought to include this. It’s a double sided brush to help get rid of all the grime that loves to hide under those finger nails. Again, on the educational insert they talk about how to use the brush to effectively clean on and under nails. So smart to teach them this young. Their future partners will thank you!
The Naked Bee Hand & Nail Salve: This small but mighty tin will last foreverrrr! It’s thick formula is the epitome of a little goes a long way. Perfect for healing dry, cracked hands and cuticles and for preventing hangnails around their nails. This is something I would never think to buy for my boys, but now that we have it – it makes so much sense that they should get in the habit of using something like this to build good hand and nail hygiene.
Magnetic Ring: Good Guygiene always includes a surprise gift for the boys and this month it was this set of magnetic rings. This is kind of like a cross between a fidget spinner and a stress ball. There are a whole bunch of ways listed on the back of the packaging that they can do with the rings, from fidgeting, to games – they’re excited to get their (sparkling clean) hands on them!
Good Guygiene Review July 2024 – Final Thoughts
Once again, Good Guygiene has delivered a fantastic box. This month’s focus on nail care is a great way to teach boys the importance of good hygiene in a way that’s fun and engaging. The products are all top-notch, and I love that they’re full-sized – it gives you a real chance to try them out and see if you like them. Plus, the magnetic ring is a fun little bonus that will keep those fidgety hands busy.
If you’re looking for a subscription box that will help your son step up his hygiene game, Good Guygiene is definitely worth checking out. They take the guesswork out of what products to buy, and they make learning about hygiene fun and informative. As a mom, I can’t ask for much more than that!
What did you think of this month’s Good Guygiene box and what themes would you like to see them tackle next?
