Harrison Blake Apparel Review January 2017

Harrison Blake Apparel is a monthly subscription for the dapper gentleman. Each box contains a necktie and 4 additional accessories, each of which are exclusive only to Harrison Blake Apparel. They kindly sent me this box for review.

I have been reviewing Harrison Blake Apparel consistently for a few months now, and here’s what I can tell you……I have really been enjoying this box. The October box in particular was pretty fun. The car tie clip we received will always be a favourite. Their boxes are a little more matchy-matchy than some of the other men’s boxes I review, but I actually kind of like it. Let’s see what we received this month.

Harrison Blake Black Patterned Socks

As much as I love my funky coloured socks, I also love a pair of classic black socks with a good pattern. I’m really loving this criss-cross pattern. Very cool.

Harrison Blake Linen Pocket Square

Ahhh…..one of my favourite patterns, ever! It’s like a mixture of chevron and houndstooth. It probably has it’s own name, but for now we’ll go with that. Love, love, love.

Harrison Blake Plaid Pattern Necktie

Oh my goodness, I feel like it just keeps getting better and better. I am really loving this tie. Black and white plaid will always be a favourite. There’s something about it that just makes me happy. Especially this time of year. And I’ve also discovered that I really love plaid ties. I don’t receive them too often, but when I do, it’s a good day. I may have done a little happy dance when I saw this one. Geez, I make it sound like I wear the ties, I don’t, I promise, I just get very excited about the good ones.

Silver Curved Arron Lapel Pin

Wow, this is a very cool lapel pin. I really need to see what this looks like on. I feel like it is one of those understated pieces that will also stand out due to the unique shape and length of the arrow.

Long Handle Gentleman’s Shoe Horn

Long shoe horns are a must in my house, thanks to the 6’7 giant I live with. This will come in very handy.

Harrison Blake Apparel Review January 2017 – Final Thoughts

Wow, wow, wow. I am really loving this month’s Harrison Blake Apparel selection. The black/white combo is classic and manly. And the patterns are pretty amazing too. The lapel pin is very unique, and the shoe horn is a necessity. Basically, they nailed it. I wouldn’t change a thing about the January box. I am in love with every single item. I actually forgot how much I love black and white until I saw all the pieces together. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the market for a men’s subscription box.
