Today we are having a quick look at my May HelloFresh Canada delivery, I receive one delivery each month and have been for a little while now. I feel like I’ve become familiar with HelloFresh Canada and everything they have to offer. I’ve come to really enjoy this meal delivery service. I look forward to receiving new recipes and experimenting with new cooking techniques. It’s a MUST for any busy household……..really it is!

HelloFresh Canada has a few different meal plans to choose from……

Note: Recipe selection is limited. The Pronto Plan and Family Plan only offer 4 recipe options per week and the Veggie Plan only provides 3 recipes which means with the Veggie Plan you do not get to choose your recipes.

I review the veggie plan each month. Here’s a quick look at the recipes I received in this month’s delivery….

Chickpea-Powered Mediterranean Couscous with Roasted Veggies and Goat Cheese

Simple Mediterranean flavours come together in the most blissful way in this dish. Fresh and light veggies, couscous and chickpeas fill you up without a heavy feeling. Add ultra creamy goat cheese and you have a winner!

Since becoming vegan, chickpeas have been my go-to ingredient when a dish is in need of a little extra protein. I love adding chickpeas to salads, bowls, stir-frys, you name it. Therefore, this particular dish is really appealing to me.

Asparagus Poke Bowl with Edamame Beans and Creamy Sesame Dressing

Layers upon fresh layers of flavour abound in this dish. Creamy avocado adds a satisfying richness to the dish while pickled cucumber and roasted asparagus bring such brightness. Welcome to flavour country!

I am a HUGE fan of veggie bowls. I love the idea of throwing a bunch of your faves in a bowl and topping it with a healthy dressing. This particular bowl has a lot of green ingredients – asparagus, edamame, and avocado. I already know I am going to love this one.

Satay Tofu Noodles with Bok Choy and Carrots

Fresh and light meet peanutty heaven in this tofu miracle! This dish brings all the yummy flavour of Thai take-out to your table before the delivery could even arrive!

This last recipe has got me really excited. Tofu, veggies and peanut sauce?! To me this is the perfect combination. I would LOVE to see HelloFresh Canada offer this kind of veggie recipe on a regular basis.

HelloFresh Canada Review May 2018 – Final Thoughts

HelloFresh has become a staple in our household. Both the fiancé and I rave about this meal delivery service every chance we get. We both love the convenience of a recipe delivery box. It saves us a trip to the grocery store, provides us with healthy meals and it cuts down on my time spent in the kitchen. The recipes we received this week are particularly exciting. I’m tempted to say this might be my favourite delivery thus far. I LOVE that we received a tofu recipe and would really like to see more recipes like this in future deliveries. I am also really looking forward to making the Poke Bowl simply because it’s full of green, healthy ingredients. Stay tuned as I will be posting each recipe individually over the next week……
