How freakin’ cute is the bag this month! The ghost with the heart eyes is killing me. So adorable!

Coat London Fierce Flicks Eyeliner

The little black dress of liners. One sweep of this intensely dark shade is all you need to create a chic look. Easy to apply and goes with everything. Exacting standards. Precision felt tip makes drawing thin or winging out simple. It’s not going anywhere, thanks to the long-lasting and budge-proof formula. Keep it smooth. Glides on, even over eye shadows.

I really need to work on my eyeliner skills. I’m always too afraid to use liquid liners for fear of looking like a hot mess. I like the idea of them though.

theBalm Cosmetics Hot Mama Blush

Mama’s got a brand new blush. This all-in-one blush and highlighter goes on silky smooth against our skin. Plus we love how the super cute packaging looks like a mini romance novel. Pinky peach hue has us glowing. Just the right amount of shimmer for all occasions. Long-lasting formula works on all skin tones.

This is very cool. It can be used as a shadow or a blush. I kind of think I like it more as a shadow though. I prefer my blush to be pink!

tre’StiQue Matte Lip Crayon in Belize Bordeaux or Florence Fig

Lips on lock. Creamy and lightweight formula glides on smoothly and leaves a long-lasting matte finish. Our go-to for a perfect pout. Super cute cap is made to stay put—so the color doesn’t dry out. Won’t emphasize lines or imperfections on lips (like many other crayons do).

I have received this product before, but it was a different shade. It’s the perfect size for my purse, and the shade a received this time around is really nice for Fall.

ModelCo INSTANT BROWS Brow Pencil in Light/Medium or Medium/Dark

Mind the gaps. Perfect for filling in sparse sections of our brows and building the illusion of brow hair volume. We love that it gives us the precision and hold of a wax pencil—with the soft, natural look of a powder. Get the right fit. Soft brown color suits blondes and brunettes. Double sided. Built-in grooming brush makes blending and shaping simple. Serious staying power. Long-wearing formula helps brows remain in place.

I was blessed in the brow department and have never needed to use any sort of brow product on them. I will give this pencil to my Stepmom. She will love it.

pūr~lisse Daily Lip Nourisher with Mango and Shea Butters

Newsflash: Petroleum doesn’t hydrate lips. It just creates a coating. But this petroleum-free balm deeply moisturizes. Totally headline-worthy. The doctor is in. Mango seed butter heals with vitamins A, C and E. Hello, sunshine. Rice bran oil protects from UV rays. Soften up. Jojoba oil soothes chapped lips.

This is a new one for me. I have received a TON of Pur-Lisse products in my day, but never a lip product. I usually receive a face cleanser or a face cream.

Ipsy Review October 2016 – Final Thoughts

So, here’s the deal. I was kind of confused when I got this month’s Ipsy bag in the mail. It felt so skinny, and lightweight. I am use to my Ipsy bags being big and bulky. At first I thought maybe something was missing. But then I realized that it was simply because all my products this month were tiny. And then I was like, I got gypped! They sent me all these tiny products. But…..as I went through the bag I realized that it was just the kind of products they included this month, and in actual fact, they were just following what my beauty profile indicates as items I want to receive. This is the first month that I didn’t receive any face products (creams, serums or cleansers) and this is what I was hoping for. Geeze, does all that make sense? Basically what I am saying is that Ipsy definitely takes your beauty profile into consideration when putting your monthly bag together……good on them!

XOXO
