Be a Tree by Maria Gianferrari and Felicita Sala
“Be a Tree” by Maria Gianferrari and Felicita Sala is a beautiful book about trees and their purpose. It teaches about different physical features of trees, what purpose they serve in their ecosystem, for us, for animals and in this world. My son and I appreciated the beautiful illustrations and fun descriptions. Some of the pages folded out too! This book also offers suggestions about how we can help trees too and also serve our community.
Art Spark Kit-Image Transfer to Wood
The Art Spark Kit was a very enjoyable for our three year old to do with me. Transferring temporary tattoos to small wood slices was an engaging activity and was mess free. With all needed parts included in the box (even the water bowl) it was simple and entertaining.
Deluxe Process Art Kit-Paper Weaving
The Paper Weaving Kit was also fun although it is better for older children than I have (3 years). The colourful paper and textiles made for a great activity for me also, and was fun to learn!
Final Thoughts
Overall, KidArtLit was very fun and offered an educational opportunity for my little one. It opened up dialogue about trees and their importance as well as gave us some goals for recycling moving forward to consider. This box is a very exciting learning box to receive for the whole family.
