Kinder Beauty Box is a new subscription box and I’m so excited to be reviewing it for the first time. They shipped their first box in January but I just discovered it a few weeks ago. I spent some time looking through their previous boxes and from the looks of things they seem to work with some amazing brands. I love that they focus on cruelty-free and vegan products.
Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the April Kinder Beauty Box…..
Rustic Maka Deodorant ($11)
It can be tough to find a deodorant that’s cruelty-free, free from harmful chemicals, and that’s tough on odor, too. There’s where Rustic Maka comes in! The company makes awesome-smelling natural deodorants that actually work. They’ll keep you fresh all day without aluminum, parabens, or other harmful chemicals that can be absorbed through the skin. In April’s box, you’ll find a full-sized deodorant from Rustic Maka in one of three heavenly scents: Luna Bliss, Dreamcatcher, or Lemongrass Gardens.
First up we have a natural deodorant in a really great lemongrass scent, it almost has a bit of a lime scent to it which has me dreaming of Summer. I am always happy to test out natural deodorants as good ones can be hard to find. Rustic Maka is a new brand for me and I love it when subscription boxes introduce me to new products. I had a peek at their website and in addition to deodorant they also have body products and face products.
Flower Mill Beauty Vitamin C Facial Serum ($75)
We’re so excited about this amazing product and we can’t wait to share it with you! This full-size serum, which will make your skin glow and soften like never before, is a miracle-worker for all skin types, so it’s no surprise the product gets rave reviews from customers. It also works wonders for reducing dark spots and fine lines. This luxurious product is formulated with natural ingredients like coconut oil, hazelnut oil, and a special essential oil blend. We can’t get enough of this one and hope you feel the same way!
I am super excited to see this in the box. I use Vitamin C Serum on a regular basis. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. I mostly use it around my eye area but it’s great for your entire face. Until now I have only really used one brand of Vitamin C Serum so I’m really looking forward to trying out a new one.
GLOV On-The-Go Makeup Remover ($12.99)
Who knew that removing your makeup could actually be fun? We love GLOV! This company has re-invented the makeup removal process. Formulated with micro-technology fibers, the GLOV absorbs makeup like a magnet — even waterproof mascara. All you need is water, which means you can avoid using makeup removers that can contain harsh chemicals that can strip your skin. The GLOV Makeup Remover is truly revolutionary and it’s perfect for either travel or everyday use. Just hand wash after each use, and you’re good to go. Even with everyday use, the GLOV will last up to three months!
This is something I have been meaning to try but for some reason I keep putting it off. I use face wipes to remove my makeup each night and I would really like to switch to a different product that’s better for the environment. The GLOV remover fits the bill. It will last up to 3 months which means that I can skip the face wipes for 90 days.
Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk ($2.99)
This cleanser will become your secret weapon for sure. It’s designed for dry skin, and not only is it super moisturizing, but it also removes makeup and impurities. We’re not sure what the product’s secret is — it could be the fruit stem cell complex, resveratrol CoQ10, or the apricot probiotic blend — but we’re definitely here for it. You’ll also feel great about supporting Andalou Naturals, one of our all-time favorite ethical beauty brands. They were the first-ever beauty brand to achieve non-GMO Project Verified status and the company takes pride in using only organic, nature-derived, and sustainably-sourced fair trade ingredients.
I am quite familiar with the Andalou brand and am happy to see it in the box. It’s a brand that gets great reviews and it’s one I have used in the past.
PBH Ethical Beauty Lip Crayon ($11.50)
Did you think we’d leave you hangin’ this month without including an awesome, vegan, and cruelty-free makeup product? Last, but certainly not least, PHB Ethical Beauty’s lip crayons are plant-based and hand-made with active botanicals that moisturize and plump your lips. The company donates 20% of their profits to charity and they ethically source the shea butter they use from a women’s cooperative in West Africa. How cool is that?! We couldn’t pick just one shade so subscribers will receive either Tiger Lily or Peach.
Lastly we have a makeup product which rounds out the box nicely. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the skincare items but it’s also really nice to receive cruelty-free makeup. I don’t often wear color on my lips but I’m happy to test this one out. I still have a few regular makeup products hanging around in the bathroom and would really love to switch all of them over to cruelty-free/vegan brands.
Kinder Beauty Box Review April 2019 – Final Thoughts
I have to say, I am SO happy with my first Kinder Beauty Box. I love the packaging, I love the product card, I love the number of items we receive and I love that they included some familiar brands and also introduced me to some new brands. And did I mention that it’s only $24 per month! That’s pretty amazing if you ask me. The Vitamin C Serum alone is $75 which means that in addition to receiving cruelty-free products we are also getting unbelievable value. I am already a huge fan of this box and I have a feeling it is going to become a new favorite.
