Kloverbox is a wonderful subscription if you are looking for something reasonably priced and focused on organic beauty. We have reviewed this box a couple of times in the past and find it to be consistent and we love that it introduces us to new brands with each delivery.
They always include a product card which tells us about each product and it also tells us the retail value of each item.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the August Kloverbox….
Gypsy Soul Organics Rosehip & Carrot Seed Eye Serum ($29.99)
This light and quick-absorbing intensely nurturing eye serum delivers hydrating nutrients to delicate skin around the eyes.
Rosehip Seed Oil – Has strong regenerative and anti-aging properties due to its high content of omega 3 and omega 6 EFA’s. A truly ahh-mazing! oil, light amber in color, it is considered a “dry” oil, meaning that it soaks into the skin easily, and does not leave a greasy residue.
Also contains vitamin A and vitamin C, which help delay the aging process by promoting collagen and elastin levels. high in essential fatty acids – fighting dehydrated, weathered skin and fine lines.
First up we have an eye serum. You all know I love my eye products so we are off to a good start. I also happen to be a HUGE of Rosehip Seed Oil, it’s has some amazing benefits for your skin. The serum also contains Vitamin C, which is another favourite.
All Heart Act Together Top Coat ($15)
Act Together Top Coat is a great reminder that when we stick together we can do good in the world. This fast drying top coat will add protection to your pretty mani and provide extra shine. Not only that, but it will dry quickly so you don’t have to wait forever for your nails to dry. Our formula is proudly certified as cruelty free and vegan by PETA and Leaping Bunny.
I’m trying to remember if I have ever received this brand before and I’m pretty sure I haven’t. I love that they are cruelty free and vegan. This top coat will be a nice way to spruce up my nails. I rarely wear color on my fingernails but can definitely see myself using this on its own to add a little shine.
Ballerina Botanicals Mini Charcoal Bar ($4)
Our activated charcoal body cleanser with tea tree and lemon essential oils is detoxifying, exfoliating, and clarifying. It’s an effective cleanser for anyone with acne-prone or oily skin as it gently exfoliates and draws out dirt and oil. Tea tree and lemon oils add natural anti-fungal and antiseptic properties to clarify and heal blemished skin. Activated charcoal draws out any toxins and detoxes the body.
I don’t know about you but I am absolutely loving the charcoal trend. It’s such a unique ingredient for skincare (I also love it for oral hygiene) and I love testing out new charcoal products. I like that this particular soap also includes tea tree and lemon oils. A really great combo for skincare.
Pro Bar Bolt Cran-Pomegranate Energy Chews ($1.50)
These Cran-Pomegranate BOLT chews combine the fresh, tart taste of cranberries with the sweet rich flavour of pomegranates for a well-balanced zest with electrolytes and B vitamins. These organic chews will delight and energize.
From time to time Kloverbox will include some sort of snack or treat in their boxes. I still remember my February box (one of my faves) because it included a chocolate bar in a cute pink wrapper which was perfect for Valentine’s day. Any who……I love that we received a snack in the August box, especially one that includes B vitamins which is something I am always trying to get more of in my diet.
Kloverbox Review August 2018 – Final Thoughts
Kloverbox is a really lovely box. I am drawn to it for a couple of reasons…..first of all I love the price point, it’s perfect for someone on a budget, $25 per month is extremely reasonable. I also love it for the simplicity – it’s not too over the top. It’s a small box which includes an average of four items each month. It’s not too much and it’s not too little……it’s just right. In regards to the items we received this month, I am happy with all of them. I will definitely get use out of the eye serum and the charcoal soap. I’m also happy to receive a snack and a simple top coat which will be perfect for a quick mani.
