Laid Back Snacks is a healthy snack subscription service with more than 30 different varieties to choose from including gluten-free, nut-free and vegan options. I have a subscription that sends a surprise mix of 6 snacks once a month. Here’s a look at my box for March.*
*They kindly sent us this box for review.
How it Works
Laid Back Snacks offers three box sizes: 6, 10 and 20 snacks. Each is available by subscription for delivery every two weeks, every month, or every two months. Subscribers can pick their snacks or opt for a surprise mix.
If you want to try a box or gift a box or a subscription, options are available there too.
Laid Back Snacks ships across North America. Shipping for the 10- and 20-snack subscriptions is always free and free in some areas for the 6-snack plans.

So much deliciousness, including two brand-new nibblies!
Cranberry Almond Clusters · “Much like first cousin Cherry Pineapple Clusters, the ingredients in this yummy snack don’t like to fly solo. They believe life is better as a cluster. Almonds, good. Cranberries, good. Crunchy toasted coconut chips, good, good, good! We’ve pulled it all together with a sprinkle of organic flax seeds to make your mama happy.”
The first snack to disappear, this one’s got everything going for it — a great crunch, a satisfying chew, that yummy natural sweetness and a touch of salt to finish. A lot of the clusters broke apart in the bag but que sera, sera. Tastes the same going down. 😋😋
Oh Hazel · “There aren’t a lot of nuts in Canada. Something to do with the mild weather and a general celebration of agreeable behaviour. Hazelnuts thrive up north though! You can barely swing a moose without hitting a hazelnut tree. We’ve added 70% + dark chocolate to this snack to complement the buttery hazelnut taste. Mix in some cranberries and pumpkin seeds for fibre and you’ve got the smooth and nutty taste that your mouth sensors have been searching for.”
“You can barely swing a moose without hitting a hazelnut tree.” 🤣🤣 Oh Hazel reminds me of a scrumptious limited edition snack LBS created with Tori Wesszer a couple years back. Excellent way to satisfying a choco craving (tho I prefer milk choco to dark) and meet your nutritional needs too.
Aloha Kauai · “Welcome to the islands! This tropical treat will escort you to your own private cabana on the beach. Macadamia nuts mingle with island fruits and toasted coconut to give you that cool-dip-on-a-hot-day feeling. Coconut flakes contain manganese for making strong bones and processing cholesterol. Heart-healthy Aloha Kauai is also high in fibre and helps speed along full body healing. Mahalo!”
I forgot home much I love banana chips. And coconut chips. Both so delish together with the pineapple (a soft chew) and the nuts.
Cherry Pineapple Clusters · “Some ingredients like to fly solo. Others believe life is better as a cluster. It’s hard to argue with the cluster lifestyle when it tastes this good. Cherries, good. Pineapple, good. Crunchy toasted coconut chips, good, good, good! We’ve pulled it all together with a sprinkle of organic flax seeds to make your mama happy.”
The second new snack and the second to disappear (when it comes to clusters, more is more!). Each bag includes four servings but I had to pace myself not to eat them all in one go.
Also included in my March box but not shown here: Hearty Tamari and Hot Cocoa Hugge, which I’ve talked about in previous reviews.
Laid Back Snacks has something for everyone, whether it’s savoury, sweet, or something with a kick. I’ve got a sweet tooth so I loved the March picks but I’m just as excited to see what’s in store (um, in box!) for April. If you like having healthy snacks on hand, Laid Back Snacks is a great subscription to have!
