Unboxing the November 2024 Laid Back Snacks

First of all, I loved this cute little reminder on the outside of the Laid Back Snacks box – oh how they know me!

I chose the surprise option, so here’s a closer look at the snacks that were included in my November Laid Back Snacks box…

C’mon Holidays: There were 5 single/sample sized packs and one full size pack. This is their exclusive, limited edition seasonal blend, and I was really excited to see it!  It’s a festive mix of cinnamon flavored nuts, cranberries and white chocolate chips. Such a yummy blend of sweet and savory flavors, it’s the perfect pick me up and I couldn’t get through writing this review without eating a whole sample bag. It’s definitely addicting! Even my 11 and 14 year old boys approved!

The sample sized bags  are not regularly included, but they will be available in December so you’re getting a sneak peek here! I loved the snack size portion because it’s great for taking on the go, keeping in the car, or in my desk drawer for days I forget to pack a snack or lunch. I also think it would be a great alternative school snack option for my kiddos versus their go-to goldfish crackers…

Hearty Tamari: This is a blend of sesame sticks, spicy pretzels, almonds, and cashews, flavored with Tamari.  This reminded me of a bar snack, but much tastier! I loved the crunch and the light flavor. I’ve never really tried Tamari before, but it was good and definitely felt like a satisfying snack. Especially for those days when carb cravings hit! It’s got the carb and the crunch, but is balanced out by the nuts too. Smart thinking!

Wasabi Me: When I first sampled this snack on YouTube (you can watch the whole unboxing video here!) I tasted both the sesame stick and the pea, but didn’t realize the little white ball was the wasabi!! No wonder it didn’t seem super spicy during my taste test. I happened to discover it when I was sharing it with my 14 year old, telling him it wasn’t spicy and encouraging him that he’d like it.  Boy were we both in for a surprise when he popped one of the little white clusters into his mouth!  It packs a real wasabi punch! If you like wasabi, you’ve gotta try it. This snack definitely brought the heat – the perfect way to stay warm this winter.

Maple Praline Almonds: I’m an almond girl, and I love trying new flavors – so this was right up my alley. I’ve never had a Maple or Praline flavored almond before but ohhhh my gosh was it tasty! This is definitely going in my regular almond rotation. They’re sweet and crunchy, but not too sweet. I love the hint of maple and the praline makes it feel like a real treat. I could eat the entire bag…and I probably will 🙂

Oatmeal Raisin Balls: These reminded me of peanut butter protein balls I used to make for the kids when they were little. While this one doesn’t have any peanut butter in it, it’s still a treat the whole family is digging. Made with oatmeal, raisins, honey for sweetness, and quinoa for crunch, it’s a tasty little thing that’s a perfect alternative to cereal bars. They’re bite-sized too!

November 2024 Laid Back Snacks Final Thoughts

I really loved this subscription and I’m equally excited that I’ve got another box coming in December!  They included so many unique snack mixes – and I really appreciate that they included a mix of sweet and savory treats…so that no matter what kind of snacking mood I’m in, I’ve got something at my fingertips!

The bags are generous in size and would stretch over 5-6 servings I’d estimate, or perfect for serving to a group. I’m definitely going to have a few of these out at Thanksgiving.  One other thing that I love about Laid Back Snacks is that I don’t have to fuss over making a healthy choice. The ingredients are solid and I feel like I’m fueling myself with nutritious foods, instead of filling up on not-so-great alternatives.

Having a box of Laid Back Snacks delivered before the holidays is a great way to make sure you’ve always got a yummy snack on hand for entertaining, or to bring to a gathering in a pinch. And bonus points if you have growing kiddos – they’ll love these snacks too and you can feel good knowing they’re filling up with the good stuff.

I can’t wait to see what’s in the December box!  Have you tried Laid Back Snacks yet?  Let me know in the comments!
