Lillypost Review January 2022
Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends children’s books to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will discover carefully curated books, a note, and stickers for fun! They kindly sent us this box for review.
Today we are having a look at our January Lillypost box which is a subscription that Steven and I enjoy together. Steven loves books and we read together at least once every day so having a selection of books delivered each month is pretty darn awesome. It’s s subscription I would highly recommend to anyone with littles at home.
Subscription Details
Lillypost was founded on the idea that reading is fundamental to the development of every child. Discover books for the special little one in your life from newborn to 7 years old at up to 70% off retail price!
What You Get: Each box includes 4 board books or 3 picture books (or a mix of both!) to engage and entertain.
Lillypost Gives Back – For every box that is purchased, Lillypost will donate one book to a child in need through various charities.
Here’s a peek at the books I received in our January Lillypost box……
Colors of Love
What color is love? Love is much more than a big red heart! This book uses crayon colors to draw a beautiful world. Embracing your family, friends, neighbourhood, and the world beyond.
An adorable book with a beautiful message. A cute book that Steven will love now because of the colors and illustrations but also one that we will enjoy together when he is older because of the beautiful story.
C is for City
Calling all city slickers! With F for fire station, L for library, and S for salon, going from A to Z has never been more urban! Take an alphabetized tour around town and discover the plants, animals, and places that make the city so amazing.
Steven won’t be 2 until March but he is already showing an interest in letters. If we see a sign somewhere he wants me to tell him what it says and then he wants to know what each letter. Therefore, he is going to love this alphabet book. I feel like it arrived at the perfect time.
Snowball
Snowball wants some excitement – he thinks the town looks like fun, but getting down the hillside in once piece isn’t quite as easy as he imagines.
I love seasonl books, as you may know, so I was very happy to see this in the box. An adorable little story and very appriproriate because we still have quite a bit of snow on the ground.
A Bedtime Hug
Children will love turning the pages and opening the chunky flaps to see how the baby animals interact with their parents. Perfect for sharing at bedtime.
This book is ADORABLE! I love that each page features a different animal and I also love the flaps.
Lillypost Review January 2022 – Final Thoughts
Lillypost did a wonderful job with our January book selection. Steven is going to love all of these. We received a lovely mixture – alphabet book, bedtime book, seasonal book, and a colourful little book with a beautiful message. Steven and I read at least one a day so our Lillypost deliveries are very much appreciated and often end up being the box we look forward to the most.
