Lillypost Review October 2020

Lillypost is a monthly book subscription box that sends children’s books to your door! Each month, tiny fingers will discover carefully curated books, a note, and stickers for fun! They kindly sent us this box for review.

Every month that goes by Steven starts to love his books more and more. I place one on the table beside our rocking chair and he reaches for it every night and won’t stop squirming until I read it to him. It’s pretty darn cute and it makes me appreciate my Lillypost deliveries that much more.

PS – Steven is only 8 months old and I started reading to him when he was around 2 or 3 months.

What You Get: Each box includes 4 board books or 3 picture books (or a mix of both!) to engage and entertain.

Lillypost Gives Back – For every box that is purchased, Lillypost will donate one book to a child in need through various charities.

Here’s a peek at the books I received in the Lillypost Board Book Box for October…

Touch And Feel Tower Animals

Are you feeling brave? Then come and follow me on a hike into the jungle – I wonder who we’ll see!

Steven loves to touch the pages of his books so this one is absolutely perfect for him. I love all the different fabrics and textures.

Boo – A Book of Spooky Surprises

Join pumpkin and his friends in this spooky game of peek-a-boo. Bright artworks, finger-holes, and a cheerful rhyming story make learning come alive.

My October box arrived quite late and it makes me sad because I would have loved to have this book prior to Halloween.

Counting With Cow

Counting is fun with a friendly farm cow. Lift-the-flaps tabs throughout and sturdy tabs on each page make this the perfect book for little ones.

Counting, lift the flaps, and farm animals all in one book?! This is pretty darn fun.

A Sloth Called Bob

The jungle is buzzing about a mysterious underpants-wearing superhero who’s been solving problems at night. Who could it be?

Have I told you how much I love sloths?! There’s a fun little story behind it which I will save for another day, but I actually decorated Steven’s room with sloths and therefore I am in LOVE with this book! It’s my favorite to date.

Lillypost Review October 2020 – Final Thoughts

Even though I’m a little sad that my October Lillypost box arrived after Halloween and I didn’t get to enjoy the pumpkin book prior to, I’m still very happy with the books we received. The sloth book is absolutely perfect seeing as sloths are my favorite, and the touch and feel book is perfect for the stage Steven is at currently. Lillypost is a must-have subscription for anyone with littles:)
