Limited Edition GlobeIn Artisan Box Review: Admire
GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring favorite products from global artisans. Each box is curated around a monthly theme selected by the editor with the aim of helping you experience new and interesting products and cultures. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Did you know that from time-to-time GlobeIn releases Limited Edition boxes! Yup, it’s true! I have reviewed a couple of them in the past, and let me tell you, they are pretty darn awesome. I’m still swooning over the Limited Edition Jewelry Box from last July.
Anyways, today we are looking at the most recent Limited Edition Box – Admire. The Box is filled to the brim with their best-selling products with a total retail value of $145 inside! It will start shipping on April 19th which means it would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift and arrive in time for the special day.

Box Details
Who or what do you admire? Who or what makes you stop for a moment in wonder at how beautiful they are, and how that beauty somehow gives you the courage to be ever more yourself?
That’s admiration in a nutshell, and this box offers admiration as well. Here’s to admiration in all forms – how they loop together as infinitely as your new infinity scarf, ring out with chime of of your fine new wine glasses in the midst of a toast, sparkle like the floating beads of your new necklaces, warp and weft like the sweet grass of your new woven vase. In short, here’s to drinking wine, picking flowers and dressing up!
Handwoven Vase from Rwanda
Sometimes we can admire a person or thing all the more by seeing them in context. Your new vase, for example, of handwoven sisal and sweetgrass, brings into vibrant focus the natural beauty of the bouquet.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this vase, but now that I have it in front of me I can’t stop looking at it. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I feel like you could also use it to hold a wine bottle or kitchen utensils. But flowers are my main focus, I by myself a bouquet every week or two. I can’t wait to see what a bunch of white tulips look like in this vase!
Handblown Glass (Set of Two) from Mexico
I already have two of these wine glasses and am SUPER excited to be able to complete the set with 2 more. Very excited!! If you are a regular subscriber you would have also received these in the January Artisan Box. They are thick and sturdy which is a nice change from the delicate glasses I currently have in my cupboard.
Brass Elephant Bottle Stopper from South Africa
I have seen this little gem before. They included it in a previous box as an alternative to the palm leaf basket. I hate trying to put the cork back in the bottle so this stopper is absolutely perfect for me. Plus, its a lot cuter than the regular ol’ cork.
Floating Necklace from Thailand
With its semiprecious stones hovering on fine silk thread, your breezy yet elegant new neckpiece says bohemian and queen in the same breath.
We don’t received jewelry in our GlobeIn boxes very often, almost never. So when we do receive it I get pretty excited. I would way rather wear a handmade piece of jewelry than an expensive store-bought piece. The necklace I received in the Limited Edition Jewelry Box is still one of my favourites.
Infinity Scarf from Thailand (colors will vary)
Whatever the outfit, whatever the weather, your infinite loop of blended cotton and silk will keep you warm without stifling you, so you can pull off that look of funky elegance any day and for any occasion while feeling light and comfy all the while.
This is another item we rarely receive in our GlobeIn boxes. Come to think of it, I believe they have only included it in one box prior to this and I missed out on that one (I’m still upset about it). Subscribers could have received different color variations and I am more than happy with mine. I happen to love this shade of yellow.
How gorgeous are the cards they have been including on the Artisan Boxes lately? I feel like I need to start framing them.
Limited Edition GlobeIn Artisan Box Review: Admire
Have I ever told you how much I love limited edition boxes? I’ve probably mentioned it, but wanted to reinforce the fact that I really do love limited edition boxes. There’s something really exciting about the fact that they are offered once and never again. Maybe it’s my fear of missing out, but whatever it is……LE boxes are great. And when it comes to GlobeIn in particular, they really know how to put together a LE box. Like I mentioned above, I’m still lusting over the LE Jewelry Box from last year, and now I will be lusting over this one. I am extremely happy with the Admire box. It has all my favourite things – wine glasses, scarf, jewelry and something to hold my flowers. I honestly feel like this would be a wonderful box for Mother’s Day…….they start shipping on the 19th so it will arrive in more than enough time for the big day!
