Lip Monthly Review December 2019

Lip Monthly offers four subscriptions (all prices in USD and all products full-sized):

• Lip Monthly Plus: $19.95 for 7 products/month
• 3-Month subscription: $38.85 for 4 products/month
• Annual subscription: $155.40 for 4 products/month

Shipping is free in the US; $3.99 to Canada and the UK; and $4.99 to Australia.

This month’s delivery didn’t have a product card so I’m including descriptions and prices from each product’s website.

HIKARI Lipstick (Romance)

“Long-lasting, vivid lip color. Our flawless formula increases wearability and stays on for hours on end!” ($15)

I love everything about this lipstick — the colour, the feel, the staying power and how well it pairs with the lipliner in this month’s bag.

Sormé All Day Smooch Proof Lip Stain (Venom)

I know the colour is hard to make out here (my apologies!) but it’s just like that splash of eggplant on the box. And way too dark on me. But I’d love to try it in a different shade. It’s like a marker for your lips so super easy to apply and the colour really lasts.

EVIO Beauty Creamy Lip-spo Liner

I’m always glad to see green beauty products in the mix and this liner is perfection. I’ll get tonnes of use out of it.

Cargo Swimmables Longwear Eyeshadow Stick (Morro Bay)

“A lightweight, crease-proof, water-resistant cream eyeshadow. High coverage formula that glides on. Once applied the formula has a 20-second play time to be blended out before it sets. Color stays true and lasts as long as you do—it only comes off when you take it off!” ($20)

The colour is great for a softer smokey eye and the stick applicator eliminates the need for a brush so it’s great for touch ups on the go. And mess-free, which I love.

Total value of December’s Lip Monthly bag is $62.34 and IMHO, a pretty great value for the price. The ice cream pattern on this month’s pouch seems like a strange choice given the season but it’s cute all the same. And last month’s product card didn’t add any value (if anything, I think it detracted from it since it didn’t offer any useful info) so until that improves, it’s just as well left out.
