Little Life Box Review August 2017
Little Life Box is a Canadian subscription box that gives you the opportunity to sample and experience new green, organic and health conscious products in a convenient and fun way that saves you money. Little Life Box kindly sent us this box to review.
Here’s a look at the items we received in the August Vegan Box:
5 Grain Medley – Gogo Quinoa
Vegan and Gluten Free medley of red quinoa, amaranth, brown rice, green split peas, wild rice.
I really love it when we receive items like this. Not only is it full-size, but it’s also a really great item to have on hand in the pantry for a quick lunch or side dish. I like the mixture, particularly the amaranth. I will cook this up, add whatever veggies I have in the fridge, a little olive oil, lime, garlic and chili spice and I will have a wonderful little salad.
Arthro Action Spray – REELIV5
Are you familiar with topical sprays? You’ll be pleased with the model available from Reeliv5. A single mist helps to relieve the sore area and quickly relieve your arthritic or body pain, whether chronic or short pain. Try it and you’ll love it!
This will be a handy little spray to have on hand for sore muscles. I’ve had neck problems in the past and let me tell you, when you have a sore neck you will give anything for a quick relief remedy.
Bath Mitt – Urban Spa
This bath mitt is from a Canadian company, it’s vegan and it’s a great way to exfoliate your skin.
I love mitts like this. I currently have a set of gloves just like this in the shower and I use them all the time. I’ll be happy to have this on hand when those need to be replaced.
Coconut Chips – Pumpkin & Turmeric – Hungry Buddha
Looking to add a little sweetness to your life? In an absolutely amazing, crunchy, natural, healthy way. These coconut chips are your best bet. They can be added to any savoury or sweet dish or even stay as they are and be eaten on their own.
These have me dreaming of Fall. I absolutely love that they included a pumpkin item in the August box. Only a couple more weeks and I will be getting ready to transition to Fall. This involves warmer clothes and all things pumpkin. I am going to try to save these until then…..I can’t wait!
Hand & Body Lotion – Dr. Bronner’s
This nourishing and hydrating cream is everything you need to keep your skin in tip top shape this winter. It’s cruelty-free, faitrade, non GMO, organic and vegan.
I’m not really a fan of sample-size products but these might come in handy. I could keep them in my car this winter for dry-hand emergencies……it happens.
Prebiotic Fiber – Fiberrific
Taste-Free All-Natural fiber supplement. It’s gluten-free, non GMO, natural, vegan and dairy free.
Liquid Greens – Sample – Pure-Le Natural
Chlorophyll has great healing effects on your body. It’s vegan, natural, kosher and Canadian!
We have received this before, I maybe would have liked to see something different in its place.
Powdered Peanut Butter – Sample – PB&ME
PB&ME offers a healthy alternative to peanut butter, without compromising on taste. They remove 90% of the fat all the while keeping the protein content of the peanuts. They also have other great flavours like hazelnut!!
Love, love, love! I discovered powdered peanut butter about a year ago. It’s really great for smoothies. Add a spoonful of this to the blender with frozen bananas, vanilla protein powder and cashew milk…….ah-mazing!
Protein – Chocolate – Sample – Profi Pro Health
This protein is vegan, non GMO, gluten free, halal and kosher.
I am always happy to test out new protein powders. This one has a small amount of Sucralose in it, but other than that the ingredients looks great.
Sports Beverage – Fruit Punch – Pro Circuit
ELECTROLYTES are essential for a good hydration during any sports activity in order to avoid injuries, tendinitis, cramps, hyperthermia and digestive disorders.
CARBOHYDRATES are the most important source of energy. They are digested rapidly by the organism and releases energy faster than proteins and fat. Regular intake of carbohydrates while exercising acts as fuel for muscles and it slows physical exhaustion.
Stink Bombs – Sample – Nature Clean
Get the stink out! These Odour Remover Pacs naturally destroys foul odours and unwanted smells. This product works powered by mineral zinc, by trapping and neutralizing odour without the use of enzymes, alcohols, masking agents like perfumes and fragrances. This product is also biodegradable and not tested on animals.
This is a fun product! I love testing out new cleaning products. Simply pop it in the washing machine with your stinky clothes.
Stress Roller – Puressentiel
Combination of 12 essential oils to help to relax and creates a sense of wellbeing, harmony of body and mind.
I have been using this almost everyday. I love that it is so small and compact. I love the scent and I love that it is easy to apply.
Wellness Teas – Ingenium
All-natural, vegan and organic tea made with: green maté, lemongrass, spearmint leaves, gingko, ginseng, nettle pieces, calendula, cornflower, sunflower petals.
Little Life Box Review August 2017 – Final Thoughts
Little Life Box continues to grow, expand and better themselves. This is what I like to see. I’m not sure if you heard but they recently expanded their shipping locations to include the US. Not only that but they have been offering some amazing deals for new box subscribers and they have been releasing spoilers for the last few months. I was already a huge fan of this box but I feel like they continually get better and better. The Pumpkin Spice Coconut Chips did it for me this month. I am beyond excited to try them and love that we received a fall inspired goody. I would LOVE to see more fall themed goodies in the next few boxes, and maybe some winter themed goodies come November. I can’t wait to see how Little Life Box grows and evolves over the next year. I expect great things from this box!
XOXO
