Little Life Box is a Mother-Daughter owned seasonal collection of items that offer a healthier choice alternative to everyday items. Every season you get to discover 8-12 healthy items (skincare, beauty, snacks, wellness and more). The box is valued at minimum $80 including shipping and the Seasonal Subscription box is vegan friendly. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Subscription Details
If you want to try Little Life Box, you have two options: subscribe for one season at a time at $49.95 per season (you can cancel anytime, and shipping is free) or pay $179.80 annually ($44.95/season) so you will receive one box every three months. (All prices are in Canadian dollars.)
Each LLB box includes a welcome card with that box’s season with a message on the back and a QR code which leads you to an itemized list on their website. Written in both French and English languages, the products found within the box are listed with their corresponding values in Canadian dollars.
Here’s a closer look at the Spring Little Life Box…
RITTER SPORT – Chocolate Bar (Honey Salted Almonds)
First up, we have Ritter Sport’s Honey Salted Almonds chocolate bar. This chocolate bar is the perfect balance of sweet and salty, with the added crunch of almonds. Plus, the square shape makes it easy to break off a piece and share (if you’re feeling generous).
RENAISSANCE GLOVE – Face Exfoliating Mitt
Next, we have the Renaissance Glove Face Exfoliating Mitt. This mitt is a game-changer for achieving smooth and radiant skin. It’s gentle enough for all skin types and easy to clean, making it a sustainable option for your skincare routine. I just left mine in the shower and have actually remembered to use it!
ESTATE MAKEUP – Eyeliner (Black)
For eye makeup, we have Estate Makeup’s Eyeliner in black. This high-quality eyeliner is long-lasting and smudge-proof, making it perfect for any occasion. The rich pigmented colors are sure to enhance your natural beauty and make your eyes pop. I will definitely be repurchasing this one!
HUNGRY BUDDHA – Snack Bars
If you’re looking for a quick and convenient snack, check out Buddha Brands Lemon Blueberry Snack Bars. These bars are made with wholesome ingredients and are vegan and free from artificial flavors and preservatives. Plus, the tangy lemon and sweet blueberry flavour is a delicious combination. Ten out of ten would have again!
BIRCH CANDLE STUDIO – Incense Cones – Citrus Sage
To create a relaxing atmosphere, try Birch Candle Studio’s Incense Cones in Citrus Sage. The all-natural ingredients and subtle fragrance make it perfect for enhancing your meditation or yoga practice or simply adding a calming ambiance to your home. I used mine during a long soak in the bath and it made the room smell divine.
KARIDERM – Hand Cream
Kariderm’s Hand Cream is perfect for treating dry and cracked skin. Made with 100% natural and organic shea butter, this hand cream provides intense hydration while also protecting your skin from the environment. This is the perfect product to throw in my bag and use after swimming lessons with my kid!
EVIO BEAUTY – Lip Gloss (Susan)
For luscious, hydrated lips, check out Evio Lip Gloss. Made with nourishing ingredients like coconut oil and shea butter, this lip gloss is available in a range of beautiful shades to complement any skin tone. I especially love that it’s free from harmful chemicals like parabens and phthalates – plus the colour (named Susan) is STUNNING.
A LIL NUTTY – Chocolate Trail Mix
The Lil Nutty’s Chocolate Trail Mix was SO GOOD. This organic, vegan, Kosher, and non-GMO trail mix is made in Canada and is the perfect snack for when you’re feeling a little nutty or like me, binging reality tv.
Medelys Nutra Collagen – Liquid Collagen (120 ml)
This little “beverage” is claimed to help maintain healthy skin, cartilage, bones and tissues and is made of endogenous collagen. This will be my first time using liquid collagen and I’ll be honest, it tastes very bitter. I think it might be easier to take in powder form.
MEDERMA – Advanced Scar Gel
Last but not least, this scar gel is easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin. It’s greaseless and doesn’t have a strong odor. I think I noticed a slight difference in the appearance of a small recent scar on my hand. But I will need to continue using it to really see any results I’m sure.
Little Life Box Spring 2023 Review – Final Thoughts
This was my second box from the Little Life Box and I can tell it’s already going to be one of my favourite seasonal subscriptions, in fact, I wish it came monthly! I’m excited to try new products, which most of them are Canadian made, that I may not have heard about before. The owners, Susanne and Chelsea, have done a fantastic job of curating products that will improve my life, or act as an alternative product than ones that may be harmful to animals, the environment or our selves. I can’t wait to see what next month’s box has in store.
