Loti Wellness Box is one of my favourite Canadian boxes. I love everything about it. The soft blue box with the flowers is nice and the packaging is always on point and eco friendly. This month, they added for the first time a « Thank you » sticker to close the paper that wraps the products. Their nice packaging got even nicer.
This month’s theme is “Seeds of Gratitude”. First, let me tell you how grateful I feel for receiving Loti’s Wellness Box. It brightens my month and truly helps me in my everyday life, especially in these troubled times. In this month’s box, I found five useful and healthy items, an activity and a workbook related to the theme. Loti Wellness kindly sent me this box for review, and I am pleased to share my thoughts on the carefully chosen items, activity and the workbook I received.
Citrus Bath Bombs – Duckish
First, I love the packaging of these squared shape bath bombs. It is a work of art and totally matches the product. Bath bombs are a must for bath lovers and especially because I do not opt for baths often, I like to make them extra special. Duckish bath bombs are exactly what I like to add to my water. It contains only natural ingredients and a good mix of essential oils and oil. They use orange, pink grapefruit and bergamot essential oils as well as olive oil. The olive oil must leave the skin hydrated and the citrus scent must be vivifying. Another plus, most of the ingredients are also organic.
Fruit Gummy Bears – Smart Sweets
If you have not tried these candies, you must get your hands on a bag. A bag of 50 g only contains 3 g of sugar but is packed with lots of healthy fibers (21 g). It is the candy every parent ever dreamed to give their kids without feeling any guilt. I added a bag in my kids Christmas sock last year and they liked them as much as regular candy. Also, the company is innovative and keeps on perfecting their recipe. Since there is no sugar added (the sugar comes from the fruit juice), it is also perfect for someone living the Keto lifestyle.
Lava Bead Diffuser Bracelet – Kawa Naturals
I was lucky enough to receive a similar bracelet before and I love it. Loti says the “Lava beads can provide stability, strength, and courage”. The beads have their own benefits, but you can also add a few drops of essential oils (or a mix) on the porous beads to also benefit from the aroma you chose. Little note: it took me some time to figure out how to adjust the size, but it can be easily done stretching the bracelet where the black cord is threaded and then simply pulling on the little string to tighten it.
Pure Essential Oil Roll-On – Relaxus
This roll-on from Relaxus comes at the right time. Fall is such a beautiful season, but I find that by the end of September, my energy level seems to get lower and lower. As it gets colder (also cloudier and rainier), I tend to go slower, and simply feel like staying cozy at home. A little boost of energy is much needed, and aromatherapy is a great way to give a gentle push. The “Energize” blend is a mix of Almond Oil as the carrier oil, Rosemary, Grapefruit and Peppermint. The bottle comes well sealed and with a roll-on attachment. Great item to put with the lava bead bracelet as you can put some of it on the beads.
Face Toner – Way of Will
“All WOW toners consist of silk amino acids derived from the silkworm cocoon, known for their excellent moisture building properties that are easily absorbed into the skin. Our normal/sensitive formula promotes elasticity, suppleness, and a radiant complexion by way of 30+ vitamins and minerals for firmer, smoother, and younger looking skin. Includes the calming and soothing benefits of Roman chamomile, as well as the regenerative properties or carotene.”
So great to receive another product from Way of Will. Loti added two of their products in the July box (deodorant spray and lip balm) and I use them both daily. This time, I received a toner for normal/sensitive skins. It has a pleasant scent, and from what I read, it looks like an excellent toner for every skin type. It makes me want to try the whole collection.
Loti Activity – Gratitude Jar
This gratitude jar is a brilliant idea and matches this month’s theme perfectly. The little piece of paper makes it even easier to start the project. The little decoration added to it is also simple but nice. I am just wondering how Loti came to a value of $12 for this activity.
Seeds of Gratitude Workbook
This month’s workbook is all about gratitude. Even in these times filled with lots of challenges and anxiety, there are ways to practice gratitude and benefit from it. In this workbook, Loti tells us more about the physical and mental benefits of practicing gratitude daily. They also suggest many ways to do so. One the activity presented is the gratitude jar; exactly like the one they sent. I liked the ideas of gratitude prompts like “Today was special because…” or “I was proud of myself because…”.
Loti Wellness Box October 2020 Review – Final Thoughts
I loved the mix of items in this month’s Loti Wellness Box; a healthy threat that arrives for the month of Halloween, a nice addition for my next bath, a nice bracelet to enjoy my essential oils, some energy in a bottle and a beautifully scented toner from one of my new favourite companies. Also, the theme of gratitude was an excellent idea. We could all benefit from being more grateful. Even in the hardest times, there are things to be grateful for, even if it is only for the sun to be shining in your window while you are working from home. I will try the gratitude jar this month and why not, try to fill it. For sure, Loti’s box will be written on one of those pieces of paper.
